FCC confirms AWS version of HTC Rhodium (Wing 2)
Now that T-Mobile US finally has some important regions covered with its historically elusive 3G frequency, more and more AWS-compatible phones are popping up. The most recent — HTC’s Rhodium aka Wing 2, which was first uncovered back in January. The handset, a sleek Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional-powered QWERTY slider, is one of several variants destined for big carriers here in the US. Notable specs include a Qualcomm 7201A processor, 512MB ROM, 256MB RAM, a 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM Radio and microSDHC support. So, T-Moblers, if you’re looking for a 3G HTC handset with a nice big touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY, it looks like this might be just what the doctor ordered.

Nice. Bring it on T-Mobile. We have a large 3G network here in the Los Angeles area to play with this bad boy.
I think I may need me one of these.
been out of contract for almost 3 years. i hope i can get a good deal on this
Cant wait, I am gonna be carrying this phone(TP2)and my G1 all the time…. I’m just gonna be a selfish bastard and then when the HTC SuperStar comes out get that and I am gonna be rolling in HTC phones.
Damn. No 850 3G. All US phones from here out should have both TMO and AT&T 3G frequencies.
Agree with Mush10, why only 2 3G bands?? The phone should have the other wonko US 3G band, namely 850mhz.
awesome
i will cancel my iphone from At&t
I think I’d rather have the 3G Dash. Anyone have any information on that bad boy?
I have been looking forward to this phone for an while now, so can’t waits!
Notice how it has HSPA+ 1900. It would be good if AT&T still has 3G on the 1900 band come July.
