From Russia with love: live images of the Samsung I7500 emerge
Hot on the heels of its official announcement, live images of the Samsung I7500 have surfaced courtesy of everyone’s favorite Russian insiders. Though uncharacteristic of Mobile-review, the blurrycam shots we all know and love hate have been trumped by smudge-laden blurrycam shots… But at least we can get an idea of size. There is also an image of the device powered onto behold, displaying the Android home screen in all of its glory. Sure, we would have liked to see a physical keyboard on Samsung’s first Google OS offering, but beggars can’t be choosers — at this point we just want to see more Android handsets roll out to get some variety out there. Hit the jump for more images of the I7500 and keep one eye closed if you’re prone to motion sickness.
Thanks, Horatio!

OLED + Droid wins my heart <3
Why the globe layout on the back?
That looks ugly to me.
all these gadget sites need a lesson in how to use their gadgets. I.e. Macro mode and focus. Or jeez, take another picture. they must have only a 16MB compact flash card. Haha
Tired of waiting for the Magic. I’ll take this one! Is that metal I see on the back?
@Bit: I’m sure by the time this comes out you’ll be tired of waiting for it.
nice smudge shots…
ohh i like the back plate desing is nice
Spasibo
@Onyx, +1. I almost think it’s become a tradition to take terrible looking pictures to introduce a device to the world.
I’ve taken better pictures with camera phones that didn’t have autofocus over 3 years ago.
nice smudge shot but it shows wen the phone is on there are no more smudges
I call bullshit on the picture with the screen turned on… look at the battery icon…. its a screenshot of the android emulator photoshopped onto a picture of the phone.
I do have to say that it looks nice. Plus with Android 1.5 I would consider getting one…. if I ever get the chance. Really does look like a sweet phone.
The appeal of the Iphone to me is it’s sleek design. I like the fact that the screen takes up the entire face of the phone. The design shouts efficentcy and functionality. I think adding all of that extra plastic to a phone is a waste of materials and adds way to much bulk.
If the new Iphone has an AMOLED I am going with it. IF not then Samsung found a new customer.
