Chinese wholesaler gets its hands on Palm Pre?
Big wheel keep on turnin’, rumor mill keep on churnin’. As the Pre’s release draws closer, the device is popping up left and right all over the Internet. In the latest installation of Pre sightings, Ludle, a Chinese accessories wholesaler managed to snag a Pre, or at least it would appear that way. It’s entirely possible of course, that this is a dummy unit even a complete sham (it is in that market, after all). The person responsible for taking the pictures offered some brief first impressions of the phone as follows: First, it feels smaller than the iPhone, but does that surprise anyone since it is smaller than the iPhone? The plastic screen is also more susceptible to scratches than the glass screen on the iPhone, but that certainly could be due in part to the guy’s disgustingly long fingernail as seen in the image below. Finally, this tipster claims that the Pre is currently in mass production and will be officially arriving very shortly. Right on. Take this news however you want, but with so many units already hitting the streets it really does seem like a May launch is in the cards. Hit the jump for one more shot and Ludle dude, seriously, just say the word and we’ll happily trade you a nail clipper for that Pre.

I say you’re pulling number out the air w/o proof
Buddy, you’re all over the place. Where’s the proof of this ridiculous number that was presented to shareholders?
Try an Annual Report.
The burden of proof is on you, liar and coward, sound familiar. What company is letting thier competitor them 98% of the time, willingly or not is assinine (not sure that’s spelled right) and will never happen in wireless
http://investor.verizon.com/financial/quarterly/pdf/08_annual_report.pdf
Help yourself.
which page (out of the 76) was that information listed on? I must have missed the ‘percentage of intercarrier piggybacking’ section.
A picture is worth a thousand annual reports:
Comparative coverage (Verizon = Orange / Sprint = Green): http://www.gotreception.com/Default.aspx?exactmap=true&lat=39.232253141714885&lng=-96.328125&zoom=4&dfilter=3&carrier=1_7_
If not for Verizon’s “generosity”, there would be no Sprint today.
So by NOT providing an answer, AND referring to a reception website which has already been dismissed as far as credibility for it’s inaccuracies, what you’re saying is…….that the annual report doesn’t actually show your miraculous 98% roaming rate for Sprint?
I knew you got that crap from that unreliable site because looking at the lame numbers it throws out as I and many others that imputed info can attest to
Just admit you saw that somewhere else on the net and took it as true, I saw a poster going by VZW saying that same thing. Guess you saw those letter and assumed it true
The annual report does not break down the coverage percentages in easily-digestible terms so that apologist-simpletons can understand and accept them. If only Verizon would just dumb themselves down to Sprint’s level …
And by the way, no proof has been presented of a single innacurracy. -Unsupported claims- have been made by unapologetic trolls who are not held to any reasonable standard. If that’s good enough for you …
That gives distinct feel of backpedaling, just post where in that expansive file your numbers are validated and I can’t speak for TRV$ but that will be the last of Don or Louie Louie Cantone you will see. Up to the challenge?
I’m under no obligation to divulge my location to satisfy you. Just like you’re under no obligation to prove your spurrious claims of 98% roaming on Verizon’s network by Sprint.
I hope, though, that you do understand that no one is going to take your word for it. Just as I understand that no one has to believe my inaccuracy with your reception site.
However, since I don’t spend copious amounts of my freetime provoking anonymous posters on a website into unnecessary arguments for no apparent reason besides being obnoxious, I think most people will assume that I am being honest, whereas you are just being, well, obnoxious.
But let’s be serious here backbeat, as an adult, if you have documentation about your claim, feel free to share it. It will give your argument some weight. Then we can all have an adult discussion about the findings.
^What would that matter, MrMultiLoginTroll?
All the number means is that Sprint -almost- doubled its reach by roaming agreements. No shock there as it’s the standard practice of the wireless industry. That is all. Nothing more. Nothing less.
God you’re paranoid.
I’m not Don Louie, but you are a waste of a log-in name.
enjoy being bitter
^You posted between us. Such a grave sin I’ve committed.
So you’re lying then, trying to pass innuendo as fact until proven that vzw is stupid, if what is stated is true
^Lies are something with which you are intimately familiar, BitchBoy.
Nice but no proof, confirmed troll
It’s an aggregate number, Sherlock.
Bull, you know it too
Since you believe you’re an HSBC banking official, who just happens to reside on tech blogs 24/7 under multiple names to game the system, and that you believe you’re man enough to back up the threats of physical violence you’ve repeatedly made against me, it matters very little to me what you now distrust.
Hmmm .. It’s a lie that Sprint virtually doubled its reach via its roaming agreement with Verizon? That’ll come as quite a shock to Dan Hesse, I tell ya!
Maybe Verizon screwed them out of virtually doubling their roaming footprint, but Sprint was too stupid to notice? Is that what you’re saying, BitchBoy? All that bandwidth Sprint is paying for but doesn’t have access to could almost make anyone believe they’re an HSBC banking official [but reside on tech blogs 24/7]
Back trolling, you ready to admit you made that number up?
