Right on schedule, Apple has released a new version of their beta 3.0 OS. We’re waiting for you guys to chime in about it, but in the meantime, if you’re a registered iPhone Dev, get your download on, ok?

To the devs out there:
Is there an option to make a custom ring tone for text messages? I know this is minor, but i’d really like to see that in 3.0 cuz I’m sick of the 6 or so we have to choose from. Thanks!

No need to fight over whos better becasue the phone carrieres and companies are all laughing at us fight all the way to the bank with our money they all could do better anyway MMS is working just called att and added unlimited messaging and it worked right away so lets get on all companies to provide all the feature that consumers need good luck with that
I was a genius and bricked my iphone 2 days ago and was stuck until i found the website that i linked to my name above, just click on my name to go there. They had me up and running in no time and i now have complete access to their Apple developers account with my own user ID and password. It was worth it, just my 2 cents for anyone who is in the same boat i was

I’ve got thebeta 2 version working great, MMs great, but if there is bug fixes i would like to try it.

Are you just mad that you really have a crapy phone on a crapy network (VzW) and you have a 2 year contract ? All your friends have a iPhone and you really want one, but your wife tells you can’t break the 2 year contract and you are (PW). That must be your real problem, since I can list about 100+ things I do for BUSINESS on my iPhone that the crapberry will not do….I second the ASSHOLE remark

I tried the beta 3.0. It’s pretty cool but still buggy. I’m sure they’ll hammer out the kinks before pushing it. Another success from Apple.
Seems nice. ATT still doesnt have MMS enabled and I have heard that they will not do it for you no matter how much you beg or threaten.
Wierd thing…phone says no Audiobooks iTunes shows that they are on there. Cant get them to work.

Hi i m also in 3.0 beta 3 and i tried to enable mms using instruction in engadget.com but it seems its crashes and brings u too home screen when u try to put user name and password inside cellular data network. I heard this instruction was working on beta 2 very well but it seems apple cut the plug on this. FU apple.
i thought beta 4 firmware was out today……
