BlackBerry BIS is dead, everywhere, again
Yep, looks like it’s that time of the month again. Comments and emails are pouring in about another BlackBerry network outage, this time apparently affecting all carriers across the US and Canada. BIS appears to be dead while BES users seem to be rolling along just fine. From what we can gather using our time line of “good lord, BIS is *&%!@#* again!” emails, it looks like problems were intermittent at first — delays and such — and now we’ve moved on to a full-on outage with no emails coming through at all. So tell us, if you can manage to stop pulling your hair out for a few seconds, where are you and how’s your Berry?

Sprint is Dead in DFW area, but my bud who is on AT&T is working every once in a while.
Soooooooo glad this isn’t/wasn’t a BES issue. Monday morning I’d have had hundreds of pissed off attorneys at my door saying “Fix this, geek!”
Whoever mentioned @xxx.blackberry.net is working is correct.
Hurry along now and log into your gmail accounts and create forward rules!

Well, BIS & BES both working fine here in Australia. I’m guessing that “everywhere” just means “North America”…

My IPHONE is working just fine
It was out for me on AT&T since around 10 AM Pacific. Seems to be back now. I got an e-mail on my device e-mail address and I’m re-adding my Gmail account now.
I got reports from family members that their BIS was out in Mexico on Telcel and Nextel.
Bes phones working great BIS not so good
I saw on crackberry.com that Verizon Blackberry service was down so I checked mine since I have Alltel…my internet service is working fine although I have some emails that have not been delivered to my handheld…
BOLD on at&t in west michigan, dead…started out by being delayed now nothing in an hour+
Bold on Rogers, e-mail not working.

Received an email around 3:30 that was on time, then didn’t get an email from around 4:00. Just got it now. So it is either delayed, or just kicked back in for me.
Can someone tell me what the difference between a Bis and a Bes, thanks.
In Alabama and Blackberry Storm working just fine.
