HTC developing the Fiesta, another Android phone
The Bluetooth SIG group may have just given us the briefest glance ever at a new HTC Android phone. HTC’s anticipated 2009 lineup has been revealed and some handsets detailed but no mention had been made of the HTC Fiesta, suggesting that this is a new phone slated for a 2010 rollout perhaps. All we can glean from the Bluetooth SIG approval information is that the handset is made by HTC, will have Bluetooth and it will target Asia, Europe and North America. Oh, and will rock Android. Let the rumors and speculation begin.

Hope Verizon Will land this
maybe this will come to at&t
i’ve been wanting an android phone to come to at&t
@josh-
Lets see for who it will land for, Verizon vs. AT&T, battle of the titans lol..
I’m hopin att so it has the chance for wifi
It doesn’t have to havre the same name as one of the phones on the leaked roadmap. This could be the market name for it. Like the magic/g2/sapphire or touch pro/wing ii/rhodiam. I imagine it’s either going to end up being the hero or the Memphis.
Another smart play by Windows Mobile powerhouse HTC, diversifying their offerings for max profit.
Verizon wont launch this. If they do, they’ll destroy a good OS an restrict it from every freeware app out there.
I’m surprised Ford has yet to announce a lawsuit for stealing the name of their mighty powerful car lol
Its a little premature to assume that this wasn’t on the roadmap.
If you look at a lot of the phones they’ve got a different internal name then marketing name. Magic/G2/Sapphire, Dream/G1/Kila, Touch Pro 2/Wing II/Rhodam. I imagine this is still one of the phones on the road map, just with a different name. The only two we haven’t seen are the hero and the memphis. I’m hoping for the memphis since that looks like a nice little phone.
Also its not very likely its VZW, the since it also mentions Europe and Asia in addition to NA. I’d wouldn’t be surprised to see it go to T-mobile.
If it does end up being the memphis it would be a nice upgrade for the G1. It kinda makes sense actually. There was some indication that t-mobile US was looking at the name G3 for awhile hinting there might be another phone that would take the G2 spot. This could be it. Keep one phone around with the physical keyboard, and let the Sapphire do the full touchscreen thing.
Vzw dosnt mess with smartphone interfacesn cripple the phone, but not the ui, there is no WinMo VZW Edition floating around. Stop the whining about things that are just not even sort of true.
