Sprint employees to commence Pre training soon

Sprint and Palm have been mum about the release date of the Pre, but it looks like that won’t stop Sprint from ensuring its employees are completely prepared to hawk the savior phone as soon as it drops. Sprint has apparently sent out an email stating, “Employees can expect training to start in April as well as multiple communications to get them excited and ready to help our customers.” With the ball starting to roll on device training this month, things are surely on track for a 1H launch — which is as much as we’ve gotten out of Sprint and Palm at this point. We were thoroughly impressed with the Pre at CTIA and it if it wasn’t ready for its public debut at that point, it was certainly close. Palm is seemingly putting all of its eggs into one basket for the time being however, so it’s no wonder the company is taking every precaution and ironing out as many wrinkles as possible before units start moving.

Thanks, Philip!

Hmmmmm… Wow, not pissing in the light socket must have been truly tough for your parents to teach you. If Darwanism wasn’t dead in our modern society then I believe this conversation might have never happened. What a shame that would have been.

“Butt pounding and beatoff” in the same comment. The intricate weaving of your fine vocabulary is becoming more and more complex by the moment.

    Continue on wordsmith… Continue on.

Any and all insight from this thread has long since been reduced to just proving what complete trolls beatoff and his pet are. I will still respond whenever I want to because baiting trolls is such fun. The way they squirm and switch up is always entertaining. and oh yeah….go Palm Pre!! Go Sprint!!

@PedroTheGoat who stated to: “Hmmmmm… Wow, not pissing in the light socket must have been truly tough for your parents to teach you.”

Obviously, very close range target-practice, at that. Of course, this also comes from one who also refers to him/herself as one who has significant gender-identification issues. I suppose the silver-lining for this is that s/he can genuinely go fuck themselves into oblivion and not form a sweat doing so. How convenient! But think of the thick eschar being formed and potential for chronic infection. :)

Wonder if s/he prefers ‘Harry’ or ‘Mike’ … or do we have to wait until one of his/her personalities manifests itself in the dominant role. Curious case possibly worthy of publishing.

    ;)

I believe this pointless “banter” is why blogs don’t get the respect it deserves. I love reading BGR every morning, but the constant back-and-forth of the same people everyday makes it hard to stomach. I read comments to gauge other peoples opinions on the topics at hand; not the ignorant, sibling-like arguing that goes on everyday. Please, just grow up. I’d like to believe there are several people who feel as I do. Now I shall go back into lurker mode. I just felt like something needed to be said.

^Couldn’t agree more! Exactly the reason why, when I arrived here, the obvious had to be pointed out just as you just did. Far too much intelligence-abuse, for far too long has been tolerated here. Those who created the climate of intelligence-abuse are the only ones who can eliminate it, unless the limited powers-that-be desire to retain them as their personal pet trolls. Which shall it be, gentlemen?

I agree with LAM here. A lot of the garbage here could be cleaned up with a few IPs being banned.

Im sure there is not much to it.

Repeatedly go off topic and abuse other posters, and be banned.

^This is a blog, not a support site or a threaded forum. It’s not so much about going “off-topic” as much as it’s about intelligence-abuse and creating a climate of carrier-brand-supremacy/hate/threats of violence/etc.

Abuse only begets abuse and is only ended where it was originated.

I think intelligence abuse is the wrong phrase here.

Clearly its about opinion abuse. My opinion is I don’t like the iPhone or At&t, and someone else comes in and says “fuck you the jesus phone pwns all.”

The fanboys rear their heads here with nothing useful to say, and flame wars start.

It’s always convenient to incorporate intelligence-abuse into an “opinion” post, is it not?

For example, stating an overly simplistic “opinion” such as “I don’t like AT&T” is childishly irrational if it does not include qualifying specifics to give it relevance. Irrational opinions only ask for a response of a similar nature. Further, even with qualifiers, when it comes to carriers, for every negative experience you may have had will always be legitimately met by experiences from an opposite viewpoint, as that is the subjective nature of coverage and handset integration. However, there are documented technical facts which can either support or refute certain blanket claims.

Where specific phones are concerned, every -consumer- user will have their own list of requirements of what will satisfy them and no one can dictate to the contrary. Therein lies the rub to posting subjective opinions about phones.
