^The cell tower coverage, as demonstrated on http://www.gotreception.com , is unbiased, up-to-date, not funded by telecom, and just a royal pain in your ass, SprintBitchBoy.

Individual customers will have extremely varying experiences on any network, but primarily based upon the handset raised to their ear.

4/05/9 @ 10:25 AM the culprit struck again, masking it as information helping with choice, terribly at that, to back up the weak argument that Sprint has a “crippled network” vs. Verizon “crippled phones”. What I find hilarious about that site is that before you even enter a city, state or zipcode it says ATT has 39% for the country, thier customers can tell you that’s a fib. Engadgetmobile is saying it will be $300 after all rebate making it late and too expensive.

that’s not true at all. The diamond specs for sprint are running at higher ram. The processor specs are the same and I agree making expandable memory is a plus but how can the ram be cut for such a device
heck the touch pro crawls worse than a turtle out of the box compared to my other sprint touch pro
further why wait months after a cdma release?

Is the Omnia really a significantly better device than the Diamond? I’m getting a phone most likely sometime in the next month, and with the Omnia back up at 199, i.e. equal to the Diamond, it looks like it’s between those two. I’d either snag the Omnia and put Point UI on it, or the Touch Diamond 1.

I don’t care a whole lot about the camera, the only place where I can see the Omnia outspecs the Diamond. Other than that, the Omnia has a worse, although bigger screen, and a worse UI.

Which way should I go?

This things almost a year late at this point, and inferior to the Omnia in every way. Oh yeah, and enjoy that required data plan. Funny to see the old-school LG Dare shooting way back up in price as people are looking to non-WM6.1 phones to avoid data charges.

There is no way AT&T will be like Verizon at all. They have NO coveage out west at all. It’s all ROAMING. You are a fucking idiot. AT&T sucks. And AT&T roams off Verizons GSM network (old Unicel) network in Alabama, Mississippi, Maine, and OR. Also, in NE, OK, IL, GA, FL, TX, ND, SD, MT, ID, VA, ect. because of Alltels GSM network. I would keep my mouth shut if I were you, what a dumb ass! HAHA

AT&T is expanding their network for the new iPhone, VZW. What are you going to do when their network matches yours? It’s not like you’ve got the hardware to be on their level.

sprint has 288/256, so again vzw has crippled a device. visual vm is a good addition, but lets not pretend its free. expandable memory is nice as well, except that 4gb is good enough for 95% of users and oh yeah, if you want any memory in it youll have to buy it. well stop comparing when vzw stops doing things that make us compare.

VZW has several phones with wi-fi. Have for a while. Only their BB don’t have wi-fi. Coincidentally no CDMA BB has wi-fi.

Still late for the release. Should be 149.99 or 99.99. At least make the wait worth the peoples time.

Alltel had it 1st and thier divested markets can get it now, the vzw one does have expandable memory and looks different. They have the HTC Rhodium coming too, they should be getting new handsets from them quicker going forward.
