LG’s Voyager 2, enV 3 for Verizon Wireless get pictured, blurred
One of ninjas just came through with pics of LG’s update to the popular but oh so craptastic Voyager. The LG Voyager 2 (original, huh?) is obviously going to hit Verizon soon, and for an extra treat, we’ve got pictures of the handset with the LG EnV3 as well. We’re working on specs and release dates, so bear with us ok? In the meantime, hit the bounce to check out the rest of the shots!
Thanks, to my ninja #/1!

i own a voyager myself and so do some of my friends. & i think its a really nice phone i’ve got 1 really bad touch screen before but once i got a replacement i’ve had the same phone for over 8 months! it’s a great phone & can deal with some beating.. but honestly you can’t expect your phone to be absolutly amazing at everything.. i think now a day’s ppl expect too much from technoligy.
insted of everyone bitching why not go buy an unlocked phone that can work on any network. i have the lg voyager, which im on right now. i had the BB storm and it was garbage. took it back for this phone and couldnt be happier that i did. and unlimited web was like 40 bucks a month for the BB! the lg voyagers browser is by far faster and does a decent enough job to allow you to check email, read news, etc. btw the txting on the voyager is amazing! so i for one am looking forward to the updates on the voyager 2.
i have the env2 and i like it ALOT. it is perfect for what i need (which is a good keyboard and a long lasting battery). i also have a friend with a voyager and he likes it alot. i would definitely consider the env3 or the voyager2 for my next free upgrade in september 09.
i think the new voyager looks sweet
ok… there is a lot of hate for verizon and their phones on here… honestly… if you hate verizon and their phones so much then leave… no one is making you have verizon or even pick verizon in the first place… and i know the contract… well if you hated it so much for the 2 years you had to have it.. then leave… oh well move on with your life.. stop complaining and get a new contract with some other company… cause no one really cares if all you do is wine and complain…
i really like verizon and i would recomend it to anyone… but seriously people stop hating on a company that is actually trying to listen and put your recommendations in the phones.. so actually its you making the phones.. so you start coming up with the brilliant ideas…
I will say Amen to your comment. I have been with VRZ since they bought GTE. I have watched all my friends go through phones and lack of service, still saying I wouldn’t ever have VRZ. All these complaining are what makes Verizon number one. You only give people what they ask for, thats how you become number one. My friend has the Iphone and has had to send it back a couple of times, because it has an internal battery that keeps messing up. I will still stay with the number one. Going to get the new Enve touch when it comes out.
amen to your amen….what if the envy 3 and the voyager 2 are the same phone????
possible?
Pretty sure that I wasnt hating on Verizon since my parents have had it since it came out. I was hating on the phone, considering that I have a voyager and my sister has the Env2, and they BOTH SUCK. but the env3 looks pretty sweet i must admit.

uh oh voyager fans, it BETTER have FloTV on it…
i don’t understand why all ya’ll are swearin’ up a storm about this. big deal, YOU don’t like the phones. your negativeness is just stupid. i’m gonna get the voyager and i love it, i’ve played with my friends’ voyagers.
(:
i just want to know what the difference is between the voyager titanium and the voyager 2?
and your opinion (NICELY STATED) should i get the Voyager 1 or 2 or the env3?
i have the voyager and i love it! its like the best thing ever but i thing the env 3 is cool to but its like the same as the voyager soo…. if you have the voyager dont get an env 3 and if you have a env 3 dont get a voyager puh-lease
i have seen both of these through contacts in verizon management….and i am still not impressed…i used both the v, the env, the env2, and the voyager.
i even gave blackberry’s storm a shot…
but i keep going back to my moto q9m
the env’s lack quite a bit with the os….and until verizon changes it i will continue using anything with windows mobile….
@ kell!
honestly…don’t get either of them, if you are going for a touch screen go for the dare…if you want both touch screen and qwerty abilities,….go for the samsung glyde it is alot sleeker…
Got my Env Touch early this morning and it is awesome. It is slightly shorter and thinner than the Voyager. The color on the screens is awesome. I love being able to put the addresses along with the phone numbers in my contacts. I find it very easy to use and I am well pleased so far. I am reading the manual and learning new things it can do and so I am so glad I waited and did not listen to those against Verizon and everything they produce. I have been with them since they bought out GTE and have never had a problem. I love my LG phones and think they are the very best.
I heard the new voyager(2) comes in different colors….is that true…and wenz it come out,..??? <3
I agree. I loooovved my enV 2. Sadly it was taken away from me last night
i luv these fones.they are pretty kool. all though, i luv any fone that u can txt on;) is there anybody on here who is 13 and SINGLE?
am i the only one who realizes that we are lucky to even HAVE a cell phone? god, look at you people! whining and running your pathetic little mouths! the voyagers a good phone, i havnt had any problems with mine, the enV’s a good phone, most phones are ok! i bet you grandparents didnt snivel and cry when they couldnt listen to music on their phone while doin something else…
WOW YOUR DUMB! thats not the voyager 2 thats the enV 3 touch look it up on verizon’s site..dumb ass
Here’s my (bad) Voyager experience: First one (acquired November 2008) failed to take about 75% of photos. Received the warranty replacment April 2009. A few days ago, the replacement has started to SPEAK all incoming texts as they arrive. I initially assumed there was a setting, but no, it’s a malfunction. A comical one, except if my bf decides to send a naughty text, or a friend drops the f-bomb… I like the phone, but this is getting ridiculous. Warranty replacement is on the way.
Verizon’s website dances around real hardware problems. I have a Voyager and it randomly shuts off, delivers v mail way late and does stuff in my pocket while being locked. It is costing me time and money at this point. I need to know when someone is calling me as a private business owner. When you go to grab your phone after a 2 hour meeting, and you find a dead phone in your pocket for no reason, restart it and get a message 10 mins later saying you have v mail – IT KIND OF SCREWS YOUR TIME-LINE and business goals as well as being the destroying my tech credibility on being responsive. If my phone would have worked as specified (ringed or vibrated or not shutdown randomly) while in a meeting, I could have responded accordingly to my clients.
I lose money and time usin this device frequently.
Piece of garbage. I bought the Voyager on 2/14/2009 and it has been replaced due to gliches four times, TO DATE. It is already (only after 4 weeks) freezing and moving itself. The features are great, but if you can access them due to faulty touch technology…why bother? I am looking at other phones. Four phones later..in 5 months (oh, and I waited in between for a week or 2 before bringing it to the store to make sure it was a gliche) make this phone a lemon in my opinion.
i’ve had the voyager since christmas and i’ve went thru one already, the phone is always randomly shutting off in between texts and it CANNOT keep a charge.verizon employees have told me to shut off the phone while its charging, and so i’ve done that, still doesnt make a diffrence.on the other hand i have a friend who has the voyager and shes went thru six of them because of problems the phone has..its a very good phone if you put aside the battery not lasting long, random shut offs and sometimes the phone just not responding. if your looking to buy a phone take my advice and dont get the LG voyager 2.
The reason why we stay is because of the network and the reliability of it when it comes to talking on the phone. Simple as that. And even with that… I’m seriously considering taking a compromise on the (phone) network, to seek the best phone money can buy (the phone every child hates their parents, because their parents won’t buy them one) and join a network that has a better data network, but probably more dropped calls and more dead zone.
