Apple stores across the US now selling iPhone 3G’s sans-contract
Apparently AT&T wasn’t the only one who started selling iPhone 3G’s off of contract yesterday as Apple has kicked off a similar sales practice in its retail stores across the US. With the 8GB model selling for $599 and both of the 16GB models selling for $699, apparently anyone can walk in and snag an iPhone 3G — unlike AT&T’s contract-free iPhone offerings, an existing AT&T contract is not necessary. This changes to Apple’s strict policy is yet another indicator that a new iPhone is definitely on its way to market. WWDC 2009, we can’t wait until you arrive.

For the price of an iPhone out of contract I can buy a BlackBerry and a Netbook. Wow, what a savings!
the iphone is a GREAT phone i wouldnt have any other phone. the price is to high THEY NEED TO CUT THE COST.THEY MAKE ENOUGH MONEY OFF JUST THE SALE OF THE PHONE..But i still love the iphone.
iphone is not a toy nor a phone for children
its way to advanced for most adults. try it youll never get any other phone once you try it
well i just want to knoe if it is still 599 without a contract

Gonna wait until the contract is over, then the iPhone 3G S will be my next one.
Hopefully.
With $700, I rather spend that on something much more worthwhile.
