The price of this is said to be the same as the original, after rebates, mistake IMO being that it uses DOr0. It looks better than the original, maybe that’s why the price didn’t change because the predecessor is still selling

Fans were/are saying the new updates fix most of the issues and it made me consider it again but the rumors of 9630 surfaced along w/the same of the Android Instinct, the HTC’s and now the Dash so I’m just bidding time because 2 of them will be owned by me this year. After having the Instinct for not quite 3 months, I find myself wishing I had a scorching case of herpes instead. I’d probably even settle for tertiary syphilis. I only wish I was exaggerating when I said that this phone is, hands-down, the worst one I’ve ever owned… and we’re going all the way back to the bricks with a shoulder strap to carry them with. Since I don’t want to seem to be making a hot-air complaint, here are just a few of the problems: programs freezing daily, repeated inability to access network information (mail, weather, etc.), touchpad keyboard made for pixies and ballerinas, a screen you can pretty much forget about seeing anything on in any amount of sunlight, needing to calibrate the screen every other day, voicemail that works…. sometimes. I just can’t go on without a martini and a blood pressure pill.
Let’s just say that I’m glad I added the insurance to my plan because me and this thing are going out to the woodshed and one of us isn’t coming back.

They redid a chipset in the phone, and also rumored to have 4.5 already installed… The old SKUs were SP8330RIM and SP8330RIMR the NEW SKU is S8330RIMA and S8330RIMAR

Rumored to be shipping out at the beginning of April in limited quantities…

The S30 and Lotus are far from low and mid range, they both lack most smartphone capabilities but one has more than the other while at the same time having the full gambit of offerings like tv, radio and nav on the 2nd fastest CDMA network

Hey look..More trolls coming into sprint threads commenting on How bad Sprint is and giving nothing constructive on the phone…High IQ.

Anyway….Most expected this out in April anyway, but If you really care about Fancy OS thats why theyre releasing the Instinct 2 (Or Dash I think?) and making the smaller/Less Featured Instinct “Mini” cheaper to buy. Lotus on te Other hand, i could give a shit less…Id rather have that Chianti.

I would totally agree with you on that point if it weren’t for the fact that Boost Mobile is iDEN, and this device is going to be running DC over EVDO Rev. A, which is only available to Sprint customers at this point. All except for the part about the dog… still kinda scratching my head on that one…

You guys keep forgetting that not only are they shrinking the size but, they are adding a walkie-talkie button to the device. This will make it more appealing to their Boost Mobile customers. You will see them grab this device in droves. I use my current Instinct to get on Facebook, watch Youtube videos, listen to Pandora and let my younger friends get on Myspace. I watch a Sprint movie every now and then too. This device is very customizable. I know just because they don’t have their own App store to add your own add-ons does not make this a bad device. Live Search and voice command are the best features on the phone. Go on a road trip to say D.C. and you can walkie-talkie your friends about your day and sites you’ve seen. This added feature is going to make the device even better……Watch you will see. Sit tight. It will soon be here. The anticipation is like your doggie when you come home from school and have to dart past him to get in the house. He pretends he doesn’t see you. You run past him and he chases after you and knocks you down – and slobbers your face.
