Three new Samsung BOGO offers coming to AT&T; A877 gets a name and a price

It looks like Samsung fans looking to re-up with AT&T or open a new account are in for a hell of a deal next month. Word from one of our ninjas has the carrier kicking off a killer BOGO promotion on April 7th and it’s all about Sammy this time around. The news also solidifies a launch time frame for the sexy upcoming Samsung A877, which will be dubbed the Samsung Impression. We now know it will be on shelves by the 7th in time for this promo so we’re guessing it will be launched some time before or around CTIA. You know, to ensure early adopters pay full price. Here’s what we’ve got:

  • Samsung A877 Impression – buy one for $199.99 get one free
  • Samsung Eternity – buy one for $129.99 get one free
  • Samsung A767 Propel – buy one for $49.99 get one free

We also imagine the new price on the Eternity (currently $149.99) will stick even after the promotion ends. Not bad AT&T, not bad at all.

I have a tmobile contract expiring in april and was seriously considering a switch to ATT for the Impression. I guess I just don’t understand the whole bogo deal tho. What is the incentive to having two phones? Can I just hawk the other one or keep it in case the first one jams up? Do I need to carry another line for it? Lots of questions but I’m stoked for the phone anyway.

I wonder if They’ll allow you to mix and match. Another words, if I buy the Epix will they let me have a free propel since it’s a lesser value?

The whole Buy One Get One thing is to attrack additional sales. People will try and find a family member to justify getting the second “FREE” phone for them. It is a great Marketing ploy. The Sam Impression looks very impressive with the AMOLED display! i cannot wait to get one. if it only had WiFi!

see but this still just equals out for my family, my mom is technologically challenged so she tries to get the most basic phone she can… and then get’s me or my sister (who is 10) to program her numbers, take pictures with it and anything else of that nature

So when does the ‘Impression’ come out? I know it’s this week, but I hear the 25th, 26th, and the 29th.

Will customers that are eligible for upgrade be charged this much? This seems alot to ask for a phone like the Impression or the Eternity, and I think that having a cheaper price for customers eligible for upgrade would be good.

you should never buy a cell phone at any of the retailers! I work in the cell phone dept at walmart. we have the eternity for $98 with a 2yr new or upg! we have the propel for $8.88 with a 2yr!
oh yeah, and the best part: no rebates!!!!
same phone, lower price, nicer people.
    it’s a win-win situation

Went to the store, and they have BOGO offer, but the prices are higher than what’s mentioned here, anyone know if these prices will be offered online with a BOGO offer? And when??

    @ Eli
There is always a catch with ATT! lol
prices are never what they seem.
As long as your heart wasnt set on the impression, you can get either the propel or eternity at walmart for cheaper than you would at a store.
