hey everyone here

blackberry 9630 will not be releasing on may of 09 and most likely released in middle or late summer because I wanted to tell you to take a look at it here

1st quarter is Jan – March
2nd quarter is April- June
3rd quarter is July -Sept
4th quarter is Oct – Dec

so you see, you heard sprint roadmap which leaked to the public while ago will be launching 9630 on 3rd quarter !

so anyone who is with sprint gotta have to wait for that and also for verizon as well.

If rumors are true and internal information is correct the mix between a Bold and Storm that Rogers is suppose to see late fall will be the Blackberry that everyone will want.

TELUS will not support WI_FI, but you do not need WI-FI when unlimited data is offered.

I did saw it and it is really cool but bad news that niagara 9630 does not have wi-fi and did you know that verizon does not support this and but I am not too sure if bell or telus support wi-fi for this blackberry 9630

It is a combination of the BB 8800, BB Bold (9000) and the BB 8900 (New Curve). You will be pleasantly surprized at the features of this bad boy, e.g., better camera, more memory, better resolution and a faster OS.

BlackBerry users everywhere are positively drooling in anticipation of its release.

In the U.S., the carriers will be Verizon and then Sprint. In Canada, the carriers will be BELL Mobility and TELUS. Rumor has it that RIM will be launching it sometime in May of ‘09.

Oh maaaan…

I have been going back and forth wondering if I should get the iPhone or the Bold…then a short while ago, Rogers raised the Bold by $50 to $249. With that initial price increase, I was going to bite on the Bold still, but now I find out that it’s gone up another $50!!?!?

…looks like it may be an iPhone for me…

The most popular BB we sell by far is the BB Curve 8310. It has the best track record for durability and we see less of them with software issues then any other BB. My dealer line is a BB Curve and i’ve had no problems with it. I will also say that the 8900 curve is a great device as well, blackberries don’t really need 3g cause everything is compressed anyway, so its a great choice and it has one of the highest cameras for a blackberry with rogers.

I work in an authorized rogers dealer store and i was quite surprised at the price hike, however i understand why its happening. Before the hike a bb curve for example was all the way down to $50 at one point and $99 the majority of the time. This provided us the tools to give those suckers away to customers for free or for $50. The phone is listed retail at like $500 so i can definitely see them losing money there if all the stores are doing things like that. There is also the fact that rogers is trying to play catch up in western Canada because they arrived at least 5 years later then the other providers so they are still building up a coverage network, in BC its most obvious….At the store level we are also seeing a lot more upgrades and a lot less new activations because of the economy and everyone knows that because rogers has the “1 year upgrade” system if you take advantage of that then the company ultimately loses a lot of money there. I’m not saying rogers isn’t making some money somewhere but they are not doing as well as people might think.

If you saw the Bold or Javelin and compared it to the 8330 with Bell or Telus. There would be only one logical choice.

prices increases for blackberry bold, curve 8900 and curve 83xx series will hurt rogers and many will go to bell or telus to buy cheaper curve 83xx series but I do know that telus and bell does not have bold or 8900 but just have curve 83xx and storm

When I got my 8900 they charged me $150 extra and I had to be on the phone for at least an hour to get that back. Maybe they are raising their prices to what they actually charge to relieve customer service traffic?

I check my bill every month. By doing so I’ve lost hours of time, but saved at least $10 a month. Damn crooks…
