Sprint’s Q1-Q3 2009 device roadmap leaks

When it rains, it pours — and if this newly leaked deck turns out to be the real deal, it’s definitely pouring over at Sprint right now. Phone News claims to have gotten its hands on a roadmap revealing the entirety of Sprint’s upcoming line up for the first three quarters of 2009 and, well, things are looking pretty good. We have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the slides for the time being so we’ll let the deck do the talking. Highlights include affirmation of a Q2 Palm Pre release (shown above with model number P100), the BlackBerry Niagra dropping towards the end of Q3 and a handful of Samsung and HTC handsets that should keep the Windows Mobile crowd happy. Hit the jump for the complete collection of slides.

Thanks, Rusty!

I find the battle between the “its taking too long to release a new BB” folks, and the “why did they release a buggy BB (Storm) and software and “yet another leaked OS” folks an interesting read.

I have enjoyed my Curve since May 2008. yes I would love a Curve 2 (8900) or a Bold (9000), and definitely a Niagra (9360?), but good things come to those who wait!

The samsung Dash look pretty well rounded. Looks like the Omnia HD or whatever it’s called. Hm! yay! HTC Touch PRO (though I wish it were exclusive to tmo… >.<)!!!

Should the above be valid, this is an awesome leak for Sprint cosumers!

    btw – Yay blackberry Niagara!

If Sprint isn’t getting the Niagara until Q309 that likely means US Cellular won’t get it until like Q410…wonderful.

Ugh, Verizon better be quicker with the Niagara. My 8830 seems like a joke compared to the Bold.

Although, my contract is up in August…so I may ditch early for the Bold and then switch back to Verizon when they emerge from the Stone Age.

I’m guessing that Verizon will have a few months of Exclusivity with the Niagara, and that’s why Sprint doesn’t have it scheduled until Q3.

    Either way, yeah, totally excited.

Hmmm, I kinda want to take a COMA until 3Q.

Any new non STORM/PEARL blackberry is going to be in my hands on the release date.

Can someone hook me up as a BETA tester?? Puh leaseeee.

Looks like the instinct plans are a bit more robust then we all thought.

The mini is nothing to write home about but the “2nd gen instinct” looks like it might be pretty nice. Rev A 5.0 camera.

I am liking what Sprint is doing here. Finally, listening to the customers instead of putting out crappy phones.

Good for them, now they just have to keep it up.

Really looking forward to the Pre!

I think Verizon will get the Niagara considerably earlier due to the fact that Sprint just released the 8350 with 4.6 OS on it.
