Not impressed.

Next time when you post a photoshopped image of a BlackBerry, make sure you don’t leave the mic hole from a BlackBerry 8800 on the bottom. It’s a dead giveaway. So is it 100% photoshopped? No. But we’d go as far as 99.99% since we made this in about 8 minutes and the original picture just doesn’t feel right. Who knows.

Aha you fixed the Blackberry word.
Very strange.
Sorry but RIM need to dump that gimmicky sure press touchscreen. Its a stupid idea and will continue to be a stupid idea, especially in a device that already has a physical keyboard.
…….
This is funny,if you look closely,its missing the trackball,nice try though.
@Castlerock
That’s the point. This thing is supposed to have a touchscreen instead of a trackball.
wow that really cute.
Okay,i stand corrected.
So, someone spent 5 mins ’shopping an 8800 to make it look like it doesn’t have a trackball, then yells “OMG 9900 wif touchscreenz LOLZ” and sends it to crackberry.com to get massive coverage.
Meanwhile BGR actually examines said photo and calls them out on their bullshit.
Who do you trust?
The concept is kinda coo.
The things one can do on photoshop are pretty sweet. haha*
It looks like he’s holding an envelope, yet it says “refer to page 1,291.”
lol
@gquaglia: Hm, the issue with that is, if they got rid of the SurePress, wouldn’t it cut them off from the existing base of Storm applications? (To be fair, a different screen shape could also do that)
Always hating when you don’t have the scoop. Real or not why even respond with a post?
Over @ cb said the pic came from the jde simulator.
I’ll say it again seeing the “moderation” team is to bashful to post this. BG is just angry he wasn’t able to get his hands on these photo’s first.
Why hate?
@JayJay
Probably because a lot of people are sending them stuff like “OMG POST THIS!!!11one!1″ or something to that effect.
Good eye though BG
Not to mention that on crapberrys image, the word BlackBerry is mis-spelled (Blackberry).
Rogers (along with any other wireless carrier) would never have an official document with such an obvious error on it.
Amazing what some people will do just to have a blog mention their name….LAME.
@The outsider
Carriers regularly make errors like that, because these are internal documents meant only for Rogers employees.
The biggest giveaway that this is fake is the fact that it is using the 8800’s ‘body’ style instead of the newer Bold/Niagara/Storm style. (chrome sides instead of chrome trim that goes all the way around the bottom.
The real product will either look like a Bold, or a Niagara/Curve, not like the old 8800.
Whatever .
Clearly all this needs to be taken with a grain of salt … or two .
Who knows? Obviously you do not. That is the 9900. I would suggest you get in touch with some of your people who know what they’re talking about and you would know that is the device.
I dont get it… if it’s fake then why would you publish it?
@ John.
It does have a trackball…..
If you look closely, it appears to be the “atomic” trackball.
I’m not impressed either. A competing website has posted 2 leaks today and all you’ve managed to do is be a dickhead. Everytime Crackberry posts ANYTHING you act like a pompous prick.
If you go to crackberry, you’ll see that the one posted here is a REAL fake that BGR himself drafted (in 8 minutes, says he). Hence, he’s commenting that it’s most likely a fake, since he was able to easily make a copy
@Byron what does it matter if you could easily photoshop something. Half the stuff BGR posts could be photoshopped. I mean a few weeks back this site used a piece of handwritten notebook paper to show Acer’s future Android plans.
