NY Verizon. Nada — no emails through gmail. no updates with other apps. called and found out there was outage.. up to 24hrs apparently? not happy.

i have been having issues with both voice and data since the end of February. No service in places where I previously had the best signals.
Switches to UMA/wifi whenever possible.

Email & browser working this morning, no noticable delays on facebook etc. Not sure on email, but for the past week or so I’ve noticed about a 30-45 min delay in emails coming through which is annoying.

Do yourselves a favor. Get your Blackberry service from Sprint. P.S. their Blackbery Curve has a push-to-talk button on it…I read at least three Sprint posters to this blog say that they had no issues at all. TSk,Tsk other carriers!!!UGH

I got the Alltel 8330 (red) yesterday at about 11. It worked fine for about 5 hours, then the browser wouldn’t connect. Used Opera Mini occasionally for about another 6 hours or so before that quit connecting. I have a coworker with the exact same BlackBerry and wasn’t having any problems as of about 5:30 this morning with her BIS. I was told in the Alltel retail store (the same one I bought it at yesterday morning) that there was a BB outage, and it should start working again.
