Sprint Treo Pro smiles for the camera; release actually on schedule

When it comes to a launch that has been delayed as many times as Sprint’s Treo Pro release, you can never be too sure. For those of you don’t believe it until you see it types, feast your eyes. One of our ninjas came through with indisputable evidence that the Treo Pro is indeed beginning to touch down in Sprint stores in preparation for availability one week from today. Siiiiigh. So, Sprint fans, if you’re looking for a handset that can wear the “Palm’s sexiest phone” sash until the Pre is finally released, the Pro is definitely your ticket. Hit the jump for more shots.

Thanks, Teck!

    Wes, please don’t start with the accusations of multiple names because we just got past that in these Palm/Sprint threads. I’m not what you said was incorrect just that it’s old and Clearwire just updated that info a week ago.

    @Wes: Cheerfully ignore the resident MPD-trolls. Mouth-breathers are constantly hungry to feed off fresh meat. Must be something in the water (under their bridge). ;)

    I have the 700p. Also just got the 800W. The 800W is a joke. Low battery life for a smart phone? WTH where they thinking? I was at one of our retail stores. Got to “mess around” with the Pro for about 15 minutes. It was enough to just frown and tell the manager that it was no better then then 800w. I’m at my 27 day mark with my 800W and I’m waiting for a return kit. All I can say is “lots of lockups, lots of taking off the battery to reset and never call 911″. I had to do a HARD RESET to get it out of 911 mode the other day. No fix. Windows on ANYPHONE is a joke. I was very disapointed that we are still selling this phone for if I was just a regular customer and paid 500 bucks for this thing, I would be pissed. I got the biggest extended battery I could get and still only get about 48 hrs of normal use (just a few email and a couple of 30 min phone calls). I’m going back to get the 755p. At least it’s more stable.

    So I’ve noticed … So I’ve noticed.

    Mind if I quote you on that the -next- time you hypocritically attempt to define me in those terms? ;)

    ^Mixing further chronic insult with your traditional “wonderings” which cannot be answered, I see.

    How about this for a prediction: Within your next 25 posts you make will be a 90% chance they will:

    A) Contain further “wonderings” which cannot be answered/objectively defined;

    and/or

    B) Promote your Jesus-carrier [Sprint, obviously] in all its glory;

    and/or

    C) Point the finger the other way when guilt is all over you.

    Feeling froggy? Go for it. ;)

    @DonLouie and Backbeat

    Would you two please take advantage of the freedom of the web and create your own blog so that you can have your pointless bickering and snide remarks played out in high drama somewhere else. You can call it Backbeat vs. DonLouie. Or Blogtrolling, or Mooseknuckle Sandwich. I don’t care. But I know that I’m not the only one that’s tired of you two polluting the comments page’s with your endless tripe.

    Thank you in advance

    Froggy in my hood means fighting and I don’t want to or care to. A. if you didn’t notice most of the author’s articles here have wonderings B. like you insist on jumping in all related subjects with ill talk, I bring positivity C. I foster this by responding but would like to see some of these topics stay on course

    Your ‘A’: You’re not the author. Why -add- subjectivity to subjectivity when the end result becomes a pure guessing game? Is that your objective? Yes or No. If Yes, why? If ‘No’, why don’t you practice what you -now- preach?

    Your ‘B’: You post unwarranted promotional ads which are then called on the carpet by a stark reality. There is a difference which you refuse to take responsibility for. Your “positivity” is foolish trolling to advance an agenda. Nothing more. Nothing less.

    Your ‘C’: Take responsibility for ‘B’ and ‘C’ ceases to exist. ;)

    Not up to the challenge before you? So be it … but, the consequences remain.

    ^There is -nothing- condescending about sizing you up accurately. You’re clearly not the paradox you would like to believe you are. ;)

    Ever notice that when called on the carpet, you simply try to make the responsibility you bear the burden of others? Something about pointing your finger the other way when guilt is all over you … Ring a bell? Just a thought …
