Stock sheet may reveal available dates of some upcoming handsets

Rumored to be a portion of a stock sheet from Best Buy a “major national retailer”, this image above is reportedly reveals the release dates of a variety of upcoming handsets. No, there’s nothing too exciting there but if the source is reliable it does indeed fill in a few question marks that have been looming — namely the E71x release date. So let’s have a look… Starting with AT&T, the document lists both the Samsung i627 “Jackfrost” and blue Samsung A767 “Propel” as becoming available on March 29th. Next up is the Nokia E71x, listed as “E71 Charcoal”, finally arriving on April 1st and the LG Xenon, which was apparently delayed so long it’s now called “Zenon”, arriving on April 10th. Moving along to Verizon, it looks like the Nokia 7205 Intrigue will hit store shelves on March 15th along with Sprint’s Palm Treo Pro which has been delayed more than a connecting flight in Atlanta. Sure, the more exciting handsets of 2009 won’t be out until the Summer months and beyond, but there are a few nice looking pieces of kit here to tide us over in the meantime.

What happened to the 8900 on AT&T in February? Seriously if you guys threw darts at a calender your release dates might be more accurate.

I hope that the April 1st release of the E71 isn’t just some cruel April Fools joke.

Ok, so if this is supposed to be from Best Buy why don’t we see a Pre release date??? This chart runs into Nov 09. I just knew that Sprint and Palm were going to get my hopes up. Looks like we should be getting the Pre in Q1 2010. Again, Apple and ATT win again. COME ON SPRINT!!!!

You act as if these are accurate. If it’s indeed from BBY then its as accurate as former pres. GWB in a spelling bee.

Speaking of the E71, does anyone know a good place to get it in Canada for a half decent price? Rogers has it for $399.99 which is not bad, but that’s obviously locked. It seems like everywhere else wants over $500 for an unlocked E71-2, which is ridiculous since I can get the phone from Rogers plus an unlock code for at least $70 less than that.

Been saving my upgrade for the e71! i’m using a nokia 6650 fold, its good but the freaking GPS button over the two key is the most annoying thing of my life. it locks onto the gps and does its 30 second load, pisses me off everytime. yay at&t not letting my delete it either. But i cant wait to get my e71

Yeah, I know there are some American shops that have it for a good price, but I need either a Canadian shop or a place that ships to Canuckistan. And that Amazon deal came a week too early, right between paycheques. Now it’s just as expensive for me after customs and shipping.

In support of Jeff there were numerous reports, even on BGR, that said the Curve 8900 for AT&T would be released either end of February or beginning of March. I have been tracking all posts waiting for it and there, has been no update and no release, but the days keep on flying bye and my older Curve is dying faster and faster day by day.
