I have this phone and it’s pretty amazing … great for ppl who want the qwerty keyboard but feel weird without a regular sliding phone lol …and seriously it’s not THAT thick, ppl are just used to the insanely thin phones they hav out now

@ Abhishek no you don’t pay extra for 3g unless you have an Iphone3g, but still you aren’t actually paying more for 3g, because it was subsidized.

I’ve been to D.C. many times, coverage was great, especially with the 850mhz overlays of 3g since fall.

Get a better phone, never dropped a call in the DC/B-more area. Good thing we have unlocked Nokia devices

The new Duo is nice, its a good device for SMS addicts who also want the ability to tether and get their work e-mails.

I do pay extra for 3G. I looked at the coverage map. It said very good coverage for Washington DC and Chicago.
I can count on 2 hands, the number of minutes my phone stays on 3G, before going over to edge. And call drops…aaaaaaaahhhh, that’s something I can rant about all night.

Once again, coverage = very good (theoretically)
Coverage = suckin donkey balls (really)

Good call on the dropped call and 3G network speed issue.

If only there was a way to get outta the contract using “dropped call” and “always being on EDGE while paying for 3G” as an excuse. AT&T = good devices, horrendous signal.
