The Bold only has a 2.0 megapixel camera, while the 8900 will have a 3.2 megapixel camera. Outside of being two completely different lines of phones from Blackberry, that’s the only difference I can note.

The bold sucks. My husband has it and it needs a reboot every day and also needs to be charged every day. Perhaps it’s the 3G, but whatever it is, I never reboot my curve — even after 4.5 update. And I can go an entire week on a charge. Any information on when we might actually get the Javelin would be helpful.

So, as we know the Blackberry Flip 8210 is coming out for AT&T, at some point anyway. Well we know the sku is in the system and as of right now they are making some phones free. Plus right now the site is going through a change. With this all said, logically speaking the Blackberry Flip 8210 will be coming out either this month or the beginning of next.

screw it. I hate to play the guessing game perpetuated by cleaver AT&T marketing guys.

While I realy don’t blame anyone for responding to the hype. We should blame ourselves for responding to these cleaver markeing ploys to generate enormous demand.

One can be sure, if we (myself too) just ignore AT&T altogether, and go on with own lives, they will come begging for our attentions (and money).

I wish someone has something definite on the AT&T release date. I am in something of a time crunch and would hate to have to purchase a new phone (probably BB Bold) when I really want the 8900. If anyone has heard anything substantial the news would be greatly appreciated.

Curve 8900 not coming to att acording to reps at both att and t-mob. Issue is not 3g. This is a problem as bold has problems, is more expensive and 3g just sucks battery. Ask iphone users who are unhappy and still mostly in 1st year of device.

8210 may head to ATT first, followed by Curve II
T-Mobile has 90 days exclusive on both
82xx is expired, that other carriers can sell it
but you have to wait till May for Curve II on other domestic carriers
but I am wondering how is the cam on Curve II, as it has AF/marco mode

Just to let you know, this wont be a 3G phone for AT&T.. RIM doesnt make them. only the Bold.

Verizon IS getting this and the pearl flip.

Both will have EVDO AND GPS.

The Pearl Flip will have WiFi as well!
So GPS, WiFi, and EVDO!

AT&Ts will have WiFi and EDGE, haha!
