BlackBerry Messenger down on AT&T? World panics
Hey, AT&T BlackBerry users! How’s your BlackBerry Messenger working? Not delivering? Not getting messages on BBM but still getting emails? Yep, us too! Anyone else having this issue?
UPDATE: Looks like it just came back up for me…
Thanks, Eric!

Bold on Rogers in Ottawa. Back down again for me.
Rogers and Telus is down on BBM and PIN in Calgary
Down agian in Atlanta
The ignorance of BB users never ceases to amaze me; by reading the threads, ALL carriers were affected yet you bash your carriers. You need to seriously consider the true cause; RIM!! Long live WM 6.1 and Exchange…never down, 100% up time for many years, not weeks!!
eat a dick
I tried a PIN message on Bell’s network yesterday Feb 12 2009, and it took 2+ hours to reach another Bell BlackBerry. Normally they go almost instantly?
Windows Mobile phones don’t even have Blackberry messenger in the first place for it to even go down. I personally would rather have push email that works perfectly 99.9% of the time than pull email that works 100% and kills my battery in the process.
AT&T Dutchess County, NY (60mi N of NYC)
Data just came back on at 8:15 this morning.
BBM still down….
definetely down in nyc yesterday from about 11-5
Telus was down as well yesterday for a while. It was rough…
Guys, it doesn’t matter what carrier you are on, the RIM’s NOC is obviously the problem here….get a clue.
in san francisco on att. it sends about every other bbm for me. this sucks…
Looks like its down again. No one I know with a BB has been receiving emails OR facebook updates for last 2 – 3 hours. Verizon OR ATT – Grrrr! Technology is only good when it works!
Well actually there are ongoing problems with Blackberry Messenger giving inaccurate status messages, slow deliveries, missed deliveries, slow receipts, missed receipts… It used to be good and now it sucks. Period. RIM, FIX IT! I send you an email to tech support and you tell me to contact my carrier. Obviously it is a RIM issue not a carrier issue when I have had the same problems on both ATT and TMO… on both the 8310 add 8900…
FIX IT
