i had a blackberry 9300 and some boy in my class stole it they are so expensive they should have some great features about them. i hope to get mine back i will i trust in god.

I hope you guys realize how fake this is. I love Blackberry, but somebody took the Curve 8900, took the saturation down and replaced the screen with a screenshot of the Bold 9000. If you look at the BlackBerry button and the back button you will see its faded as if it was edited. Try it, find a picture of the 8900 for T-Mobile, put it into an editor, and bring down the saturation. Congrats, you just made the “Curve 9300″ RIM is currently using the trackpad and isn’t going back to the trackball. Come on guys; RIM made the Curve 8900 and the 8520/8530 is the new Curve. The “Gemini” is a fake because RIM has never made a device look exactly like an older one but with a “new keyboard” or “rounded END/SEND keys” and a “bigger screen” This is a fake phone and I hope nobody got too excited about it. Again, try this in Photoshop and see what happens. Love BlackBerry and BGR; but this is fake.

It’s because the iPhone iSucks. With all their genius and proprietary devices, thererare all kinds of incompatability issues.

My opinion: after the glitz and glamour wears off, the iPhone is just an overpriced smartphone. Itonly works well with other Apple devices, and that’s what the designers always intended.

Be smart, see through the “gold plated” iPhone, and drop it for something better, easier, cheaper, and more compatible.

Nicole is right– this phone is coming to T-Mobile at the end of August or early September.
Hopefully it will sync well with my Mac!

So many small business owners need a good querty phone to sync with iCalendar. The iPhone does that well, but of course, it doesn’t have a real keyboard, and of course, it isn’t T-Mobile compatible. Those of you that have dealt with the other carriers know what great service they have.

I know this is a old post but wronnnng.
It couldn’t be that small. 3G chips are too big (hence the size of the Bold).

Must have got specs for a different project.

Am I the only one or does
a. the keypad on the bold suck.
b. Vzw suck big time.

IDK why there is so much hate on Att yes their customer service is bearable at best, but it’s no worse than Vzw and by far better then Sprint. Plus they spent millions building up a true 3g network in America, and Tmo is following suite. yet everyone still loves Vzw and their crappy CDMA network overpriced plans and ok customer service, and then they complain about how Att gets all of the good phones first, it’s called the rest of the world uses GSM so if you were to build a phone what type of radio would you put in it.

What is it with you people and saying it will come to Verizon or Sprint? Don’t you understand that GSM phones will not work on CDMA networks? I can’t believe how many people are fake internet experts claiming this will go to Verizon. Newsflash, it won’t work on their network. This has to go to either AT&T or T-Mobile. Just face it, RIM hates Sprint. Verizon gets some love, but Sprint (especially with their iDEN network) always get screwed. And with the way they’re hemorrhaging subscribers and cash, that trend won’t be reversed soon.

How does this compare with the Bold???

Any hints as to which U.S. carrier(s) will get it? I’m sitting here getting more and more pissed off with T-Mobile given we’re coming up on a year since their 3G launch andd there’s still not a single peep from them on if/when they will have a 3G RIM device.

I want to see a touchscreen on this. That’s the only thing they’re missing on these phones. Forget the Storm… I want a Blackberry that looks just like the one pictured above, but with a touchscreen.

Am I the only one that thinks Q4 ‘09 is ridiculously late to release a 3G Curve??

Unless they release this thing with some extra heat besides 3G I don’t see how this would entice me to purchase one Q4 at which point we’d probably see some real nice handsets.

I prefer the keys on the Bold. The best keyboard I’ve ever typed on, with very few typo’s.

I’d still get it. Larger screen, 3G, higher resolution, better camera…all welcome additions.
