Oh. My. God.

Verizon just earned about 10 extra cool points for this… Amazing.

Thanks, John!

Cool ad or not, this is an obvious fake. I just hope you guys realize that. If the clean audio didn’t give it away, the inconsistencies in the shots definitely did. You can tell from shot to shot, that different people are in the shot showing that there has been a lapse in time, and multiple takes. The final thing is 200 people sneaking up behind the guy. What, he didn’t notice them when he was coming down the mountain? He turns around and 10 seconds later they are there? C’mon. [sorry to be a killjoy]

No. Just no. If he were not acting, I would slap him in the face for that.

I wonder what phones you guys have that can watch videos on websites. Because all I see is a blank white section. :(

Totally fake – the kid is wearing a mic. Lame attempt at a viral video by Verizon.

They must have cut back on the network team…the storm commercial has hundreds of thousands employees lining the streets as “the network”. Guess Verizon isn’t recession proof.

    Two things:

First: Someone took a picture with an original iPhone 2g!

Second: He was on the phone, how did he send that picture? Lol. He must’ve been on an AT&T 3g device.

    Pretty funny commercial though.

    Oh. My. God.

You gave a company “cool points” for filming a commercial?

Viral or not, this is still just a VZW ad, of course it was staged, of course the kid was an actor, he keeps saying “the network” If I was to turn around and had a couple hundred people from Sprint behind me I wouldn’t be on the phone going DUDE I HAVE SPRINT SPEED behind me!!

Wonder if the “Network” could have survived a avalanche? Man if only the Sprint ATT and TMO guys were at the top of the slopes to get things started……….tsk tsk.
