Sprint enables MMS for BlackBerry with OS 4.5 release
Fresh off the heels of its release of OS 4.5.0.131 for the Curve 8330 and Pearl 8130, Sprint users have been hammering our inbox with reports that Sprint has finally enabled the BlackBerry users running OS 4.5 to send and receive MMS. It’s long been rumored that Sprint would enable MMS alongside the official release of OS 4.5 on its network and many people have recently been reporting that Sprint reps were dropping some major hints that a new OS was just around the corner. You need to check with your BES admin as I am sure your devise is locked down.

if anyone is using a bb8830 WE on sprint, upgrade to the bell mobility os 4.5.0.127 and you will also be able to send mms!
I recently downloaded the upgrade, and it works!!!! Sprint is not all that bad, yes i have problems from time to time, but thats with any phone company, since having my bb 8330 I have been in love with it, no problems so far (knock on wood)
Thats not true I just had roam only then I upgraded to 4.5 from 4.3 and lost it. The messed up past was I leave my phone in roam no good service here at home. I upgraded it was fine for like 3 months and then I switched over to sprint only or home only and when I went to go back to roam it wasnt an option so it is the software or it wouldnt have just vanished and my bf just got a new replacemt pearl his broke and it has the 4.3 roam only option now his first one never did i know i owned it B4 he did so what is the answer to fix this
I just downloaded 4.5 os for the curve 8330 sprint. I have no problems. I lost the music/ringers i downloaded but i can redownload them no problem.
I was just wondering what to do once I download the software to my computer-how do I go about putting it on my computer?

So if I purchase the blackeberry curve in June 2009 does it come already with the 4.5 version out of the box ready to use or do I have to do an upgrade still to get the MMS picture sending options? I just ordered mine using an upgrade with sprint… brand new ones should have the upgrade in it already right?
all i did was connect my blackberry and the desktop manager asked to update, i wnet through the process ( took about 20 min) and now i have mms.
ok soo how do i get it???
I downloaded OS4.5 yesterday and I still am not getting MMS correctly. The messages just show a sprint web link that I have to click to see the pic. Is there a setting I need to change or what? Thanks!
