I agree that they should have compared it to something that was more in the same genre that the Pre is aiming for. It’s obviously being created to compete against the iPhone experience. Why not show that? maybe the N95 comparison was a spur of the moment call. It obviously wasn’t very well thought out, that’s for sure.

I like the look of the Pre.

I think Palm did say other phones are on their way with the WebOS. I’m just afraid the battery life will be non-existent because it’s always connected and pulling things from the web. I hope the OS doesn’t take up too much power.

Why do some people keep saying, “too bad it’s on Sprint or, the only drawback is Sprint?” I will admit that Sprint had issues with customer service, I had an issue years ago. All indications are Sprints customer service is much-much better. Aside from that, Sprint has the best voice/Data plans around and the best broadband network.

Wow, I know the iPhone is the first thing that people think of with regards to the Pre, but it looks like they’ve studied Android as well, some of those features are very reminiscent of my experience on my G1

for the record, I have both a G1 and a 1st Gen iPod Touch..

My only gripe with the Pre, or did I miss something – No WiFi???
