Possible T-Mobile Memoir pricing and launch date revealed
Ever since December when Captain Blurrycam struck the 8 megapixel beast that is the Samsung Memoir and provided the first solid evidence that it was US-bound, T-Mobile customers have been eagerly anticipating its arrival. And why wouldn’t they? A full touchscreen, an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus, 16x digital zoom, dual LED flash and 30 fps video recording, alongside a bevy of other camera-centric specs make this one hell of a feature phone for T-Mobile. Word now is that the release date may have been pushed back a bit from the date we scooped back in December, but the good news is that we now have a possible price point – $299.99 with a 2-year contract, pretty steep. We’ve already seen changes made to the release schedule and it’s likely that since the Curve 8900 was pushed up, other handsets would be pushed back. We admit we’re a tad sketched out by the fact that the poster seems very skeptical as to the document’s authenticity, but maybe it’s the mention of a target audience in the 30 – 45 year-old range that has him uneasy. While that does seems a bit silly, don’t put it past a carrier to issue internal documents with expectations like that. As always, only time will tell. Who’s excited?

“Captain” Blurrycam? Really BGR? “Mr.” ain’t punchy enough =P
Is it WinMo or Samsung’s own OS? I’m getting antsy for a new handset…
winmo?
if so this will be a monster when 6.5 hits!
jesus flipping christ this isnt winmo its JUST touchwiz.
DaveZatz – It’s TouchWiz I’m afraid… Or perhaps that’s a good thing depending on how you feel about WinMo.
TouchWiz on top of Samsung OS
I wish it’s a WM6.1/6.5 phone with AWS & 8MP camera.
I wonder where the dual led flash info is from? I have read multiple times from different sources that it has a xenon flash. I guess will just have to wait a couple more weeks to be sure.
I might be interested, but I’m not 30-45 years old so I guess not
Bummer, no Windows Mobile. I’ll only buy a phone with an established OS that I can install things on.
A lot of stuff can be put on Touchwiz phones. Way cooler than Windows Mobile.
I’m interested!
I shouldn’t have upgraded over winter break.
I totally forgot about this thing.
the document is internal from tmobile that i can confirm is real
How can anyone like WinMo? It is terrible, but Samsungs OS (at least for the Behold) is quite possibly even worse it has the worst UI I have ever used on a touch phone.
I have not found a good OS yet, but WM comes closest for running the software I need for my business.
well im getting the tmobile memoir it seems to be a very interesting phone but my problem.is that I can’t find the exact price
well… i jjust got it from a friend for 300 bucks i know steep but so far so good… i love it!!!
