Entire East Coast AT&T Point of Sale system down?
Thanks to a tip from one of our trusty Ninjas, we’ve received word that AT&T’s entire East Coast POS system is down. Details are admittedly a bit scant at the moment, but from what we can gather all transactional systems are offline at the moment. What this means, essentially, is that any and all sales, i.e. bill payment, upgrades, new line activations, and more, are basically impossible to execute. No word from AT&T themselves as to when we might expect a fix, but given the systemic nature of th problem we can imagine that the company is hard at work on a fix. Anyone out there experiencing issues?

Nah you’re missing the real reason. Obama is making them tear out all the wiretap equipment they put in for the NSA and someone pulled the wrong cable.

Your phone not working as nothing to do with our POS system being down. Why dont you try a soft reset and re-register your device on the network.
Wow.. They should put one of their 15 recent network collapses on one of their cute little more bars in more places commercials.. Maybe 30 ticks of comparing the iphone to a dumb blonde.. Alright to look at but you don’t wanna commit.
