    I got a little excited about the new os, but after reading a few forums I think I’m going to wait. Read a lot about the battery draining more than .217, media player bug still exist, and looks like everyone is getting the visual voicemail not provisioned error. I will wait until it’s officially released and do a wireless update.

    I’m sorry but the Curve 8900 better get this feature too! I have YouMail on my 8320 and with the added VyMail app it’s pretty cool! RIM will drop the ball big time if only the Bold get’s Visual Voicemail. I thought for a long time that RIM should buy YouMail as it complements a BlackBerry so very well.

    @Conrad:
    Can you actually USE Google? Come on, there’s dozens of places to find how to upgrade the OS on a Blackberry. The comments on a blog post ain’t where you should be looking.

    if you miss visual voice mail, check out youmail. i’ve been using it since Dec, and love that it not only shows the numbe but does a reverse whitepages look-up and gives me the name if available, and it’s free.

    Anyone know how storage is handled in RIM’s vis. vm app? I’ve got YouMail and have been happy to have the option to store incoming VM directly to my microSD. Are VM messages available online as well (like YouMail)?

    This feature only works on the 3G network, meaning only the Bold will get it, at least for ATT

    How can that be true if it works for Bold users who are not in a 3G area? I am not in a 3G area, but have VVM working on my device.

    I’m with you on this one. It costs and if you would like to read the caller’s message, there’s a fee. (Expensive per month)
    Why not go “free” for the same features.
