New ROM leaks for Sprint HTC Touch Diamond, includes Mobile Internet Explorer 6
If you’re one of the many Sprint customers who uses an HTC Touch Diamond on a daily basis, this news is for you. A new ROM for the handset has leaked onto the internets, bringing a host of new features, fixes and upgrades with it. Chief amongst the changes is the inclusion of Mobile Internet Explorer 6, which is a major update to Microsoft’s ailing mobile browser. MIE 6 sports full flash support (!!), as well as a number of other minor changes. Additionally, the new Touch Diamond ROM also includes a new build of Opera 9.5, a new audio manager, a new camera app, new fullscreen media player, a new version of rsshub, as well as an improved YouTube client. All told, this seems to be a pretty significant update, though we should caution you that it has yet to receive the Sprint stamp of approval, and as such isn’t for the squeamish or faint of heart. If you think you can stomach it, however, hit this link for the full rundown, and be sure to let us know how it goes.

I’m glad to see some progress with this, it will make a lot of current CDMA users, on whatever carrier, happy
^What don’t you understand about WinMo and HTC, Idiot? This has nothing to do with a carrier, cdma or otherwise … Except in your cubicle-retail world.
Moron.
I want to see how long it takes Sprint to make this an official update, it took forever for the Mogul to get one but since then they been better. Nobody even knows about the Diamond or Pro unless you go to a store and who does that?
