T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 enterprise pricing revealed

Got a business? Got T-Mobile? Got a ‘Berry? Then it’s time to smack your CFO around until he or she signs off on the 8900 upgrades you’ve been waiting for. Rumors of T-Mobile’s enterprise pricing is making its way across the interwebz and it’s not looking too bad at all. $499.99 contract-free, $249.99 with a one-year agreement and $199.99 with a two-year sign off. Sounds about right to us, and we expect non-corporate pricing to line up with these numbers as well. We already know that the 8900 will become available to business customers this coming Monday and the rest of you will have to wait until February 11th to play. Can you make it another month?

Sally, you must work for Free Mob….I mean T Mobile. Sorry, I always get those two mixed up for some reason.

I fear RIM may be making an error branding this device as the “Curve”, which would seem to imply that it is not a significant upgrade over earlier “Curve” branded models… I think they’d have been better off finding a new brand name.

Actually retaining the CURVE name seems like a wise marketing decision since the original CURVE has been so beloved. Why not continue to key off of its success. The name is well known, loved and trusted.

I called T-mobile to ask about getting the 8900 for our business plan, and they said they are not selling them on Monday to business customers. The manager said they have no official release date or even know if they will be releasing them early for business customers, but she did confirm 100% that it is just a rumor that they are selling early.

I was in Sprint with my husband replacing his business phone today and the guy there told us the Blackberry touch phone is thier number one returned item. Not sure why, but you may want to take this info into consideration.
