Visual Voicemail coming to BlackBerry Bolds?

One our tipsters sent us in these screenshots from his Bold, and what do you know, there’s a Visual Voicemail icon on his homescreen. He told us it errors out when he tries to launch it, but has anyone else seen this? The OS he is running is 4.6.0.219 and his carrier is AT&T. Additionally, he noted that BlackBerry Application Center modules are loaded to the device on OS install, but we informed him that without the Application Center service books, that thing isn’t going to launch. We’ll dig a little deeper into this one, but what’s the general consensus here? One more shot after the breakage!

    Yes, confirmed. I have .219 installed on my AT&T and have Visual Voicemail installed as well. Same error message. That means it’s coming, though. ;)

    This is the only feature of the iphone that
    interests me. Everything else my Bold does, and does better. Of course I don’t care about music and videos, otherwise the iphone might hold more interest for me. Visual Voicemail is a big win for the BB!

    @Backbeat:

    I don’t think so regarding blackberryforums. They are the rudest, most unfriendly and unhelpful Blackberry website on the internet.

    Their mods are rude and disrespectful of new members and it filters down to the whole community.

    If you want to hang somewhere and actually enjoy yourself and have some fun, crackberry.com is fantastic. Their mods and admins are friendly and helpful and it filters down to the community itself.

    There is a feature on AT&T that is $8.99/mo for visual voicemail. If anyone could get this feature code we could add it on with customer service. I’m certain this would enable it.
