Sprint ETF settlement leaves $90 up for grabs for customers

Remember all the hoopla about Sprint’s ETF and the lawsuit it was facing because of their policy? Well, as a result of the proposed settlement that is likely to move forward, it looks like anyone who started  and subsequently ended a contract with Sprint between July 1999 and December 2008 is looking at some cash. All you have to do is show proof that you canceled during that time window and paid an ETF, and you’ll be getting $90 for your troubles. Of course, $90 is probably nowhere near what you had to pay to get out of contract and it’s hardly a consolation for all the heartache you had to go through, but it’s better than nothing. In the event you stuck with Sprint during that time period in order to avoid the ETF, you get $35. All you have to do now is deal with the paperwork and process of going through all this stuff and that green will find its way into your pockets.

Your inappropriate comments are the result of being an undisciplined, cowardly shill. You know no restraint, bitchboy nor can you deal with it when it’s forced upon you.

When I corrected others who professed that Sprint offered unlimited data _for smartphones_ at $15/Mo, you piped in with the same rhetoric you now admit to above. Without specifying what hardware is involved, a reasonable person can be lead to believe a lie. Funny how that works, eh bitchboy?

    Fuck you.

When you assume you make an ass of you and me. You know you were lying and proved wrong, listed them myself and you try to pass it off like my words. The ads you say I’ve been spotting are only in this article now everywhere else I’m sticking to the subject and am not name calling. I’ll take shill and troll but please give it a rest with bitchboy

What others, they must be telling you and no post because there are maybe 8 different posters and maybe one referenced me but none of it was the subject matter you suggest

None of those convos was concerning the question of availability of unlimited data, @ $15/Mo for smartphones, on Sprint? Really?

    Idiot.

Sprint has been horrible to me in the past. I have been a customer for 6 years and it’s been nothing sort of a nightmare almost the entire time.

Only 3 weeks ago I had a problem with my Blackberry and called sprint expecting the same ‘ol bs only to get the royal treatment. I was shocked beyond belief. They kept saying how important of a customer I am and they sent me a new Blackberry 100% free of charge with free overnight shipping.

I think someone in there finally understood how bad it was and may be trying to make a change. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to get in on the settlement yet or not. I know if you do you give up your right to fight the ETF in the future which will be re-written and go in effect again in 2011.
