I’m wondering how many revisions there has been to the software since this post in January? Jan – Nov seems like a VERY LONG time to be in such a limited release phase for something as simple as a social media blackberry app, especially seeing as how mature it apparently was back in Jan based on the BGR review above.

like it or not, whether you’re 15 or 55 or whatever age, social media is here to stay.

got scocialscope not long ago and LOVE IT so far.. can’t wait for more updates.

kind of agree that a linkedin feature could be cool, but not sure how that would work with the interface at this point..

I just signed up for the Alpha of SocialScope. The email said it could be a few weeks before I get invited. How long have other had to wait for it? I can’t wait to start using it.

how come you guys get to talk about it and disclose all sorts of info? My welcome email stated that “During this time, we intend to keep all aspects of SocialScope CONFIDENTIAL. By using SocialScope, you agree that you will not disclose any look and feel, features, functionality or other aspects of SocialScope to anyone until SocialScope’s official public launch.”

i guess instead of telling my friends “i can’t tell you about it” i’ll just send them to this page.

but is there any control over which updates go where… Would you really want @twitterer showing up in your facebook updates… I know I wouldn’t.

I consider my FB a little more personal than my TW updates… therefore my FB are less often and more thought about (you need to leave time for people to respond). Whereas… my tweets are little and often.

So Social… has any of the above been considered.

in short – I’m really looking forward to a sneek preview.

I should add that one of my favoritw features of SocialScope is that it shows you when your Facebook friends upload new photos. Very neat.

I’d be ashamed to tell anyone I used facebook…unless i was a 15 year gold girl. Twitte isnt much better–dumbest thing I’ve seen in a while.

I have a lot of people I follow, and I don’t want a text everytime someone responds to someone else. I like keeping my texts just for my friends texting me.

Now maybe I’m missing the bus here, but what is the significant draw of this application over regular text message alerts? Those are in real time too and I have unlimited text as well.

That was my biggest frustration with twitterberry and twitter for android.

Anyways, I’d love to hear justifications.

I LOVE this app, works GREAT on my Storm. Just wish it had a bit more functions. It’s still in Alpha, so I’m sure it will only get better and the developers answer questions pretty fast

I agree with all the comments. It is a great application! Just wish it had more Facebook options.
