Um…..I can’t believe I’m saying this. Can we get a Macbook with some features? Okay the OS is great and it’s super sexy, but other computer manufacturers are making better computers. All of the features that make this computer livable cost extra. 3500 dollars for a laptop? Something you’re going to spill your drink on in your hotel room and eat Cheetos on.

UGH no user-serviceable battery. A friend recently got some water on a brand new MacBook, if anything’s wrong with it she’s still getting mauled for the repair, even though we got the battery out quickly. Apple just doesn’t care about its customers anymore, only about making cool gear.

Well, it is cool and has a $2,799 price tag. Dell Studio, for instance, is not that cool but can be bought today for $1,379, the same specs.

Let’s just hope they never have to do a battery recall, I guess- other than that it looks like the improvements in battery life are worth the tradeoff in terms of user-replacement.

I was going out tomorrow for a 15inch MBP, looks like Apple is getting $800 more from me for this thing later this month instead!
