Kogan Agora rears its head nights before CES
Sure it’s going to be officially unveiled this week during CES but that didn’t stop a naughty, naughty person from snapping a few cheeky pics of the world’s second Android phone. Granted it looks a bit different from the render we saw not too long ago, but the internal components shouldn’t have changed. And in case you forgot, the Agora will be offered in two configurations, the Agora and Agora Pro. The Agora Pro ($399 AUD / $285 USD) features quad-band EDGE, tri-band HSDPA, 2.5″ 320×240 touch-screen, full-QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, WiFi and a 2 megapixel camera. If you choose to save a little bit of cash and get the regular Agora ($299 AUD / $212 USD), then you’ll be sacrificing the GPS, WiFi and the camera. But honestly, GPS, WiFi and a camera for $73 more? We’d take it and think pretty much everyone else will, too.
What an ugly design. Put a bigger screen on that bitch, it’s not like there isn’t ugly Wasted space itching for it.
I have to say, it looked a lot better in the renders… and that bezel!
Still, $212 for an unsubsidized Android phone isn’t bad at all.

That bezel is ass….Seriously, why not dedicate that space to the screen?
It’s an ugly HP Business Messenger. This is the type of phone only sold in the back of Tiger direct catalogs.
Honestly, for $285 *UNSUBSIDIZED*, I can overlook some ugliness for some pretty good under-the-hood specs and Android.

WOW the renders looked good, kinda looked like a sexed up Blackjack with a decent operating system but now it’s .. yeah whoa what happened? Looks like an awful chinese knockoff of a Blackjack…
If they fixed the screen size this would be a great cheap Android phone.

My iphone is acting up again and looks like I’m going to have to replace it for the 3rd time, I’m probably going to order this. It may not be the best looking, but I like whats underneath

No dude you’re wrong that bezel has got to go. It’s like they couldn’t afford a larger screen half way through production and said. Fuck it, lets put a bezel around it and shove it out the door. Some stupid Gweilo will buy it.

the grey/silver BEZEL around the screen is PRE PRODUCTION – Kogan have CONFIRMED the phone will have BLACK around the screen…
