The ThinkPad Trackpoint is a fab device. How can you not like it. I also have the USB travel keyboard, with built in track point. Nice to use.

Does every product announcement always have to have some fanboy with some stupid comment how it somehow copies Apple? For Pete’s sake it’s a screen with a keyboard and mouse, what the hell are they supposed to do so it doesn’t copy your precious iMac?

Sure, just like an that elephant claims to be thinnest animal in the jungle because its tail is very thin.

This Lenovo “all-in-one” has its electronic components in the lower part of the diplay, and that part appears to be THREE-TIMES thicker than the upper part that contains the screen.

The red scroll wheel on the mouse is a nice touch, I think…

Though why would you ever want a trackpad on a keyboard? I mean, they’re practically unusable on laptops already.

In my experience IBM Thinkpads and now Lenovo have been the most reliable laptops on the market. Might not be the best looking…but have certainly met and exceeded my needs. I have yet to see anyone to get their trackpoint copy to work as well as the one that is on the thinkpad.

No matter how hard Lenovo tries, I cannot overcome my prejudice towards it.

Firstly, I always associate Lenovo computers with IBM, meaning that image of “mediocre machine with poor performance and even worse reliability at astronomical price” sticks to it.

Secondly, well, “made in China” label doesn’t really have that convincing ring to it.
