It’s that time again, people. We’ll be the first to admit we’re slacking on our BlackBerry Curve 8900 vs. mystery phone review, but we figured we’d make it up to you in the form of a giveaway! Here’s the important information you need to know:
- The unit we’re giving away is a Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8900.
- The unit is unlocked and will work with any SIM card in the world.
- You are on your own with making it work with your own carrier, though. (Some carriers won’t send out the necessary service books, some will).
That covers our mini-disclaimer. So, how do you enter? Destroy your current BlackBerry? Nope. Been there, done that. All we’re asking you to do is leave a comment, friends. That is all. Here are the official rules of engagement:

Dear BGR,
I need a new phone! I managed to lose my old Samsung Blackjack in a cab. I received an insurance replacement in the form of a BJ II, installed WM 6.1 and snapped it in half (two pieces) about a week later. Now I’m S.O.L. I have been using my old Sony Ericsson dumbphone for the last three months or so and I’m losing my mind. People won’t even talk to me on the phone naymore because this thing sucks so bad. Texting is like getting kicked in the junk, e-mail isn’t an option, I CAN’T EVEN GET TO YOUR SITE ON IT!!!
Please, have a heart and help me out. I decided after the BJ debacle that my next phone will be a BB and although I would really like my phone to support 3G, I’m not one to look a gift phone in the mouth.
