Yeah. I have this problem with a lot of videos, especially any of the old Dr. Who episodes. I know it has nothing to do with bandwidth–I’ve got about 9000kbps. Phooey!

I have a mac, downloaded the needed program, and most of the time it works great. The big issue I have is the audio problems some of you seem to be describing. Half the time I click on a film to watch, I don’t know if the sound will be lined up correctly or not. It is very, very frustrating. I’ve called once about it already, and all they had to say was that they were aware there was a problem.

Recently I’ve had problems with The Orphanage, Welcome to the Dollhouse, Soylent Green, and Fatal Attraction.

clockwork orange is off too. not as far off as twighlight zone but bad. (you have to watch a bit into the movie before you notice it because so much is VO). on my boyfriend’s newer mac it’s fine and didn’t make us dl silverlight. go figure.

I had exactly the same experience with the Twilight Zone, first season. I’ve got an Intel-based Mac; other ‘watch instantly’ titles work fine. What’s the solution?

I was trying to view The Twilight Zone tonight and noticed that problem. I was looking for a solution when I found your comment. I’ve had something else on Netflix do the same thing but I can’t remember what it was. I wonder if it’s just certain titles?

My MacBook is less than a year old and it is Intel-based. I can use instant play here on the desktop Macs in my school’s computer lab… how weird. There’s got to be a setting I’m just missing on my Macbook.

Only Intel-based Macs work with Netflix streaming. If you have a 4 year old Powerbook G4 like me, you’re still out of luck.

I have a lot of trouble with poor audio sync – the sound can be way behind the video, 20+ seconds. Anyone else seeing this – try season 1 of the original Twilight Zone…

I started using the Silverlight version of Netflix for Windows. Works MUCH, MUCH better than the previous whatever it was technology. I was shown how to “opt in” by one of the Netflix support people.

Deaf people and others with hearing loss are still missing out on Netflix because there’s still no closed captioning support for both PC and Mac online streaming.

I’m puzzled. I got the email about this at about 8AM, but every time I’ve checked on the play instantly page I still see this:

Your system is currently incompatible for PC viewing.

I’m using Safari. Am I just missing something obvious here?
