No it doesn’t actually work unfortuantely.

With bell I get one bar of reception at my place of residence (a 15 minute drive from downtown core of Ottawa), when a couple of hundred metres in any direction, signal strength is much better (4-5 bars).

Telus lent me a Curve for a day and I got 5 bar reception in my basement.

I’ve contemplated waiting for the Storm to come out thru Bell and see if my coverage issues would improve somehow (I don’t believe it would) – but their customer service is so horrid and frustrating I don’t think I’d be able to deal with them.

Telus is looking less and less apealing.

I’ve got all my other services with Rogers, including another wireless device and have been quite happy with their customer service, so will most likely just port over to them..
