Apple starts Black Friday sales ’round the world
Black Friday is almost upon us and many of you are going to be scouring your areas for some of the best deals found all year. Yesterday, we told you about the price cuts and discounts that Apple distributors are offering and it looks like it will be quite an event at the Apple Store. In New Zealand and Australia the sales have already begun, though the only Macs on sale are the iMac and MacBook. For those of you wanting to get an iPhone 3G for a friend or loved one, walking out without having activated the handset first still isn’t an option. You can however, give them a gift card for the iPhone 3G and they get some special treatment from a sales rep where they will help them set up the phone, configure email accounts and even add some tunes so your loved one can walk out a happy camper. There will also be personal shoppers on hand to assist customers, like they always do. Come to think of it, short of the modest discounts it has lined up, Apple’s Black Friday event will likely be just like any other day – only with a slightly bigger crowd.

Who cares? I wouldn’t buy any macstuff, even if they offered it for free.
Sad that you are too unintelligent to use a MAC
@ Terry
Sad that you are so mezmerised by shit that no one can say anything bad about it.
NOW NOW CHILDREN……..
good that people like axis stay away from macs!!!
Why would we care what some numb nutz internet jerk named ataraxis6 says about macs? We don’t want idiots like that person using macs. I enjoy both Vista and Macs…but I understand the technologies, where others dont.
MACS<<<<
Whatever. Windows and Mac are for squirts and princesses. That’s why I’ve been using OS2 Warp for the past three decades. Gangsta!
I’m no mac fan but even with my old G4 ibook I bought on ebay the other day just to have a laptop for internet and chat I like it. I have a vista pc I use for gameing and I like how mac is set up vista is only good for direct x 10 I put 2 grand into my custom build and can play crysis and far cry 2 maxed out
I noticed that these price slashes (for Canada) are no different than with the Education discount. Big blahoony for a “sale.”
Buy a Mac and you don’t need Windows! Macs run Windows and OS X right out of the box!
