I work for a company that has 25 + contracts with TELUS. Tried to get 2 bberry storms as hardware upgrade for myself and another manager.All we got was some BS and barely a deal.So much for 8 years of loyalty with Telus.

Bell’s Blackberry 8830 world phone sells for 299 (3yr contract) so I was pretty much expecting this one to sell for around the same price so no surprise here as long as bell matches telus’ offer.

I’ve a $250 hardware update credit which why I’ve been sticking with bell or I might have jumped ship to Rogers for the $199 iPhone.

pretty outrageous claim. yes the current phones wont work on the new network. but they clearly said they are not shutting down the old network so u will be able to continue using them anyway

you’re right u don’t have to keep the phone, but their shtty service. try calling them, what a nitemare!!! Seems other than here in Canada 2 yeardeals are the trend on contracts with better deals than a can. 3 year contract. See Chris’s post.

Platinum they pretty much “have” to match each other in pricing, well one would think anyway. It’ll be interesting to see if one out does the other in terms of pricing.

bell and telus will most likely sell it at the same price ..n e how bell currently has a team working for the holiday season on a project that consist in macthing any price the competion make on phone .. so bell will either cheaper or at the same price ..!

Vodafone – Free on an 18 month contract
Verizon – $199 on a 2 year contract
TELUS – $299 on a 3 year contract

OUCH!!!!! out of control!! that is because Bell and Telus want to have there 4G network inplace for 2010 Games!

So we have to pay for it, then they will “telus” u’re old phones do not work on the new network cough up again for a new Faster phone
