New leaked images of upcoming Nokia E75

For those of you awaiting this QWERTY-slider from Nokia, new pics of the E75 has been spotted out in the wild and leaked pics are now online. There is a decent 2.4″ screen which looks to cramp up the alphanumeric keypad a bit but a quick slide reveals a QWERTY keypad for more roomy messaging. There isn’t much new info at this point unfortunately but at least we can make out FP2 now that there’s a clear image of the display. Slim and sexy, no question – let’s hope Nokia managed to stuff a decent battery in there somehow. Still no details on release or pricing, but there are a few more pics for your viewing pleasure after the jump!

Will it support Blackberry Connect…? NOOOT!! What happened to BBC why isn’t anyone talking about it anymore? Whoever said that RIM makes the best email and messaging devices obviously never received their work emails on a Nokia device :(

Really really hope Nokia will support BBC again in the E Series devices…

    @NKIALVR,
I’m America’s biggest S60 fanboy and advocate. And even I know Blackberry’s email client is the best on a mobile.

I’m not sure about Blackberry Connect support, but if they’re bought by Microsoft or another company, BB Connect might become part of the Exchange product arm. Maybe Nokia knows something, or doesn’t want to support enterprise anymore, and left it to the third partys and IT depts.

    @ Steven Glansberg,
the interface love is relative. Its an older OS, and not as spiffy as 5th Edition, though I happen to love its geek appeal. This ain’t your kid’s or grandmomma’s phone! I prefer function over form. Its simple yet fully featured. Better to focus on functionality and performance than looks. Leave that to simple toy phones like the iPhone. This is a NASA spaceshuttle-grade phone, which is nothing as pretty as the G5 Lear jet-like iPhone. But we all know the Lear jet will never compare to the space shuttle. They both have wings, but which goes farther and does more?

You can install themes on s60, not that its ugly anyways.

damn that row of numbers though, should have been in a keypad format on the KB. I used to have the same configuration on the wizard, it sucked.

Can’t stand phones that have no arrow keys on their QWERTY keyboards. Having to use the phones D-Pad instead is just not fun at all.

Yikes! I know the E-series is supposed to be a business-centric phone, but this reminds me of my teeny bopper cousin’s LG Envy.

    That’s not a compliment.

I think the OS is perfect, nokia knows they already have a perfect functional OS. The only thing they’re doing now is bringing the same great functionality to people who prefer a different form factor. so if the E51, E66, E71, or E75 isn’t ur style.. Shut up and get another series. If u don’t like any nokia, well then it sucks to be you.

This is definitely a nice looking phone. Recent Eseries photos don’t seem to reflect it’s beauty. I love my e71’s form+functionality design. The e75 should be big hit.
I’ve been using Nokia’s Email Solution and don’t seem to miss BB push mail. Nokia Email handles attachments(clips, pics, pdf etc) impressively. But, BB messenger is highly missed on my E71.
I haven’t tried Seven’s email solution but they seem to be getting good reviews.

    NKIALVR says:

I have used all of the Nokias E61, E61i, E65, E51, E90 and now E71. BlackBerry devices might be less complex devices and thus get more popularity, but receiving BlackBerry email on a Nokia device cannot be matched by even the best RIM product. At least IMHO.

This said, my work email is running off of a BES server and the IT department simply won’t allow emails to be pushed to Exchange, so I am stuck with a brick (E90) or a Fisher Price phone (BB 8820).

The E75 and the E71x look very promising. I hope Nokia will listen and open up to BBC again, otherwise I am going to accept defeat and go with a BB Bold. I can choose my handset but I cannot chose my email system…

Oh… if only it were a flip phone… with a full length touch screen… and windows mobile… and available on Verizon… THEN we’d have something! :)

I currently use a E51 and its been the best phone I have laid my hands on ever.
For its price the E series phones are the best in the market with the functionality of a iPhone + Android minus the Touch.

I just hope the keyboard doesnt suck to much.

About 1 1/2 years after the Iphone came out and Nokia still makes ugly stupid phones. If you have a qwertz keyboard wha waste any space for the numbers instead of making a bigger screen? I just don’t get it…

Both E72 and E75 are just another versions of E71. NOTHING NEW CONCEPTUALLY! Nokia has refused to do fixes on the E71, but rather created another couple of boxes with the E71 inside, just fixed. Of course, nobody can be sure by now, but that is where Nokia has been heading lately. Let’s see if E72 and E75 have at least faster processors than E71.
