BlackBerry Bold: BGR edition, presented by Colorware
You know the drill by now… Colorware isn’t an afterthought after you buy your brand spankin’ new device, it’s a pre-thought. Meaning, you’re hoping Colorware is all setup to customize whatever device you fancy even before you’ve actually gotten a hold of it. They were nice enough to hook up DJ Clue and myself, and while I haven’t had a chance to take some pictures of his device, there’s a couple of mine over here. Just don’t let me catch you rockin’ the BGR sig, ya dig? Pictures are after the break!

Go to cnn.cn and buy all the black parts for dirt cheap. The process to replace parts is way way simple.
I bought the blacked out my bezel, keys and provider brand as well as the Canandian keyboard.
Now I’m rockin’ a fully Black Bold that looks hella better than the crome.

Am I the only hater? It looks ok, but not great. And that signature looks like a paint marker did it. Maybe this is how it was ordered. The flat black is tight, though.
For customized electronics, mess with Forat. I think their site is Forat.com or something. They specialize in digital music instruments, but can do anything. They are the electronics customizers to the stars. They did my MPC 2000XL sequencer/sampler back in the day. As soon as Nokia’s next REAL Nseries flagship comes in a few months, I’m getting her pimped out, pronto!
I like the design, no matter what you think of Colorware, but is it just me, or does rocking this kind of blow your cover as “the Boy Genius.” Wouldn’t it be easier to use a stock BB Bold incognito?
