You know the drill by now… Colorware isn’t an afterthought after you buy your brand spankin’ new device, it’s a pre-thought. Meaning, you’re hoping Colorware is all setup to customize whatever device you fancy even before you’ve actually gotten a hold of it. They were nice enough to hook up DJ Clue and myself, and while I haven’t had a chance to take some pictures of his device, there’s a couple of mine over here. Just don’t let me catch you rockin’ the BGR sig, ya dig? Pictures are after the break!
Thanks, Colorweezie!

Nice colors. Looks good.

I agree with Dante, I’m not very partial to any of colorware’s work, it’s a bit tasteless in some respects. A murdered out BOLD is a sick concept, but I don’t think that was quite what had gotten achieved.

Have you guys given it a thought that maybe the simple classic style is what BG may have been going for?

The only thing I don’t like about colorware is that the paint chips pretty damn easily I love how my phones look (iphone and sidekick lx) but the paint sure is hell is not durable. First tumble destroyed my expensive ass paint job. Just my thoughts.

Looks classy, business-like….not something a 15 year old would like!

Why’s everybody hatin’? I think it looks good. I’m diggin the red lettering. I would send mine into colorware also, but can’t afford what they charge.

I am sure you guys got this done for free but why would any one pay colourware $100+ to do something you can do yourself for a fraction of the cost:
Black Bezel$12.99 - http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-bold-9000-black-bezel-p-3636.html
Plain Back Cover $12.99 - http://cnn.cn/shop/blackberry-bold-9000-battery-cover-p-2851.html

I have my curve done the same motif, all black.
I wish they did flat black, I am contemplating painting my BMW flat black, and I dick the look, I wish I could get my curve in flat black to match, if nothing else i LOVE the look.
If you have 120 bucks, suck it up, it’s your device and they will make it look fresh. had it for a year? send it in, and get it a new look. colorware is awesome, and I LOVE mine.

In fact Colorware did exactly that, If they actually painted the bezel themselves, the battery release button would be black, not silver like the one from cnn.cn.

Can’t see it on the pictures but im gonna guess the charging contacts, mute button, as well as the battery release door are all silver. If thats so, colourware is getting all these parts from cnn.cn and not painting a thing.

Nice, but I did it myself for $15 and a screwdriver and avoided the colorware tax. cnn.cn folks
