I’ve made maybe 10-15 comments on this blog. 3 of which were hands on at the LA launch that agreed with BGR. Are you following my comments closely? I’m flattered.
And I totally agree about Lohans boobs, but really, I think you’d be hard pressed to find someone in Hollywood who hasn’t touched them anyways, even if they were nasty..I mean really..she went through all the guys and headed to women now.
I saw this commercial and thought it was a real blunder. Just made me think that the device didn’t work so they couldnt show the screen!! I saw the commercial in the MLB playoffs and in the same evening saw the iphone commerical that KICKED ITS ASS. The commercial that is. Apple does it right and shows you what you can do. This commercial made me think they are still trying to make it work.
I’ll be interested when it’s available for AT&T sometime in the year 2011 and beyond, for now I’ll stick with the Bold, afterall I waited 2yrs for it, lol.
It doesn’t have a Verizon symbol because the commercial was shot by RIM, so they wanted it to be a non-carrier specific promotion.
The Storm is already released in the UK on Vodaphone (a GSM version) and the follow up to this commercial is airing. When the phone is turned around, there is the full screen with no keyboard. When they type the screen clicks, etc. All Storm.
Still pretty boring though. It’s WAY overhyped. It doesn’t even have WiFi! In their pre-release docs, Verizon tries to spin this saying that you don’t need it with the nation’s largest 3G network. Hey Verizon, how about letting us decide if we need WiFi? What about when I’m in my office building with no EVDO signal at all, huh? Using our company’s WiFi might be kind of nice then wouldn’t it?
I hate my Verizon service. They disable WiFi on everything and they even disabled GPS on the 8830 so that you would have to pay for VZ Navigator. I’m done with Verizon now. I was waiting a long time for the Storm, but they are crippling it too. Time to look elsewhere.

As far as comments that are useless? 90% of the comments on this blog are useless, much like yours was toward me. Thats what blogs are for.
Ummmmm, maybe GSM Storm..looks just like the storm minus VZW..

Fair enough on the review part..

pause and look/compare.
It actually is the Storm.
