HTC Max 4G caught on video
How’s this for some weekend watching? It looks like a couple of excited Russian mobile enthusiasts managed to get their hands on HTC’s recently-announced WiMAX gobbling Max 4G. You know, the ridiculously hot handset that we won’t be getting our mitts on here in the US. The reviewer gives it a pretty thorough run-through in the video above and despite not being able to understand a word of what’s being said, we certainly came away wanting one. Or three. The only real strike against this handset, provided you can cope with Windows Mobile, is the bogging. The UI definitely looked pretty boggy at several points during the video but it’s hard to tell if the bogging is normal or if it has to do with the fact that they’re streaming NINE videos at the same time in the background while doing the review. Damn. Towards the end of the video the demonstrator also lines the Max 4G up next to the iPhone 3G to give youa good idea of the size and look. Seriously HTC, we want.
[Thanks, Tom!]

The Touch Pro was already uninteresting to me, but this just killed it. I’ll be holding onto my Tilt until we get something like the HD or the 4G here in the U.S.
Me wants!!! 4G on the AT&T network! Now!
Can we atleast get a decent 3G coverage first?
with all the specs that this thing is kickin’ I really wouldn’t care. 3G, 4G… hell even 10G! Just bring it!!!
“provided you can cope with Windows Mobile” Why does this site even bother with Windows Mobile news when you are going to deride the OS? If it was ever to be released in the US I’m sure the comments would be along the same lines, if you like WM or if WM is your thing, etc. Why not just stick to your iphone coverage, since that phone is obviously perfect in your eyes?
Not saying I know better but…. I think he’s got a point. lol.
HTC, get your bloody act together mates! You are finally creating dazzling mobiles, create a damn OS already! Apple, Nokia, Samsung, LG, and Google have done great jobs, why can’t you? The mobile is nothing without its OS, so pucker up damn it and produce something user friendly where sharp and pointy nails are are not needed to navigate or make a simple call!!!!
Sorry BGR, your site seems the most reliable to get information across! Cheers on your breaking news!
this phone does have OS
