I still have my RAZR v3i from 2005. All I had to do is tweak it with some mods and it was perfect for me. Anyways I don’t like the idea of Nokia stealing from Moto. What is this, like the 5th RAZR clone they made. Although I do like the idea of a half QWERTY keypad. Maybe Moto should have thought of that when they were designing the rAZR.

I vote no for the 2.5 mm headset jack. It’s what turned me off the E71. OK given that business users may already have a 2.5mm headset, not so bad… but this is targetting consumers who have 3.5 mm headsets. No one likes carrying out extra shit and if you lose that adapter, you’re stuck without music for a while.

First of all, it’s been done already. The N76 already came and went. Are ppl going to b***h everytime? Secondly, the razr was an ingenius, stylish and functional design. Nothing wrong with copying it, in fact, it’s impossible not to.

Smart business move. If it got cancelled, the argument is moot since it was never even announced.

So… Nokia just can copy. What a shame. Totally 80% similiar with Motorola V3 Razr. Nokia make the worst phone than Motorola V3 Razr. Uppss… I forget, Nokia not expert make slim phone. The battery will getting hot and burn like Nokia 6300.

I don’t know if this phone would directly compete with the Pearl Flip – they seem to be targeting two different markets.

iPhanatics, please take note. The Blackberry fanboys aren’t complaining about how this is a rip off of the BB Flip & they aren’t saying Nokia should not be allowed to make this phone.

Every time there is a touch screen device you iPhanatics freak out and cry about the device because you all *think* the iPhone created the touch screen & think there can only be one.

Notice how the Blackberry people comment on the similarities but don’t immediately bash the device without seeing it firsthand.

I’ll look at it more, but I’m still leaning towards the Blackberry flip when it comes out.

That thing looks like Nokia did a straight rip off of the RAZR. Blackberry just used the RAZR as a basis for their design. I’m thinking (based on these limited pics) that the Blackberry has more of an “authentic look”.

But, the phones do look really similar. I’ll have to look at both closely.

Hopefully, this thing will keep the price of the Blackberry flip down because of competition?
