New Verizon BlackBerry Storm commercial airs

If that last ad left you wanting to punch the TV screen, this one should help calm you down a little bit. It doesn’t offer much in terms of new content, and the device sequence is obviously edited to make it look smoother, but all in all, it’s a pretty decent ad. Favorite line? “What kind of Man Genius is behind this?” Damn, first AT&T, now Verizon ads… someone call Edelman. We need another publicist!

Thanks, Scott!

Uh, yeah I’m sure. The screen doesn’t flip nearly that fast, plus you know, they say “screen images simulated.” Smart ass.

I’m so happy I bought the Bold when it came out. I don’t think the storm is anywhere close to the Bold’s features although they are 2 different categories….
If I compare it to the iPhone, well…the iPhone had a good head start.
I have to give RIM credit, they are really making a good move to the market to please everyone..and I do mean everyone…
    Nice job RIM…keep it up.

I think it’s the guys voice. It has to be. I cant pinpoint what else would make me want to kill someone so badly.

jay…are you kidding me? just cause ATT decided to start using the term 3g recently doesnt mean Verizon has had it the past 2 years. The Storm run on EVDO Rev A, which is almost like 3.5g

    @ mr. Hi-Definition

and you have had the phone in your hands to see how fast/slow it is?? give me a break. there have been a handful of recent reviews/vids of the ui moving faster, more normal speeds. so stop acting like you know what you are talking about, it’s obvious you havent got a clue.

Verizon isn’t going to accept the software until it is running quick, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up being somewhere near the level depicted in the commercial.

And ummm, Jay, Verizon’s network is basically 3G.
