WHERE IS MMS? COPY PASTE? IM? ABILITY FOR ME TO ASSIGN ANY SOUND FILE TO AN ALERT OF ANY KIND? REPEATING ALERTS? VISUAL EMAILS NOTIFICATIONS ON MY LOCKED HOME SCREEN INSTEAD OF HAVING TO UNLOCK, CHECK, AND READ? WHERE IS MY PUSH EMAIL? WHERE IS MY ABILITY TO SEE THE TIME IN THE DAY SOMEONE CALLED IN MY RECENTS IF THEY CALLED ME BEFORE TODAY? THE IPHONE IS SO AGGRIVATING TO A POST BLACKBERRY USER.

Apple, A lot of these things you have promised in conferences and news releases. Please stop trying to make me spend more money by trying to sell me more. Please deliver on what I’ve already bought from you. You have wasted a lot of my money on what you billed as a revolutionary device. So far, the only thing I have received from you is the same thing you are poking fun at Microsoft for giving us – a lot of marketing.

Always same old story, It will come in time, the damn POS has been out for over a year, countless updates, Apple does not and will not care what the rest of the real PDA users think, they are going to keep doing their own thing.

i think apple will put all this in in time. That or wait for the next Iphone. And that is why they have NDa, plus who knows, they may have been working on it for a long time before the dev submitted it so chill out.

How about fulfilling the business promise. Compared to the WinMO Email, calendaring and contacts, the Apple stuff is way to basic and primitive. No search or sort in email, can’t add/edit attendees to a calendar event. How about addressing some of these realworld business needs.

Or is Apple just admitting this is no more than a toy/gadget to play with and not a true business PDA contender like Jobs boasted. Hardly a BlackBerry or WinMO killer!

I am testing the device for business use in a company of over ten thousand employees, and the lack of a copy and paste is the last thing on the list keeping me from putting the device into production. I have been using the iPhone 2.0 since the day of release and keep almost going back to my BB for lack of the C&P function….

This is starting to sound really awsome. If Apple does this, I will drop my Zune like a red-headed step-child. Microsoft has been so lazy at adding features to the Podcasts side of the Zune. Why doesnt MS simply add the option to delete on the fly or bookmark a podcast?
