This looks good. Yes i can type just fine on an iPhone, but I need a larger keyboard for real efficient typing when I have more then one finger typing can allow. The iphone is great for not needing to take my laptop everywhere with to some real work.

Currently I use a T-Mobile Blackberry. I push my email accounts to it and subscribe to the data service for other access to the Web. On XMas I received an iPhone to hack, which I did. At first I thought everything was fine. But now there’s two problems – I can receive email, but not send it (and yes, the account info is accurate, including the port number) The second problem is that it says I haven’t subscribed to a data plan for accessing the internet. CAN ANYONE PROVIDE ASSISTANCE?

Jailbroke iphones also support VNC server which allows you to use a full size keyboard wirelessly.

Apple could make this a moot point if they would include a landscape-mode keyboard, expanding it and thereby making it easier for some of us to type on. The Blackberry Storm will support this feature, as do a bunch of other mobiles with this form factor. But perhaps it’s too much to expect of Apple. I mean, if they can’t include copy/paste or MMS in a smart phone, what hope is there for a landscape keyboard?

A native keyboard? it looks aboriginal! Ivory connector, black cable, silver & white keyboard. Really a coordinated package.

Long in the tooth – not bluetooth.

Hey I just sucked on an egg i hard boiled and it didn’t do anything for me…??? Anyway, if this is an actual picture and not some boy genius photoshop trickery then, thats some old school looking shit right there boy. I love the cable part. lol. At least, please let it be via bluetooth and not a cable from the min 90’s.

Either way, this is all bullshit anyway cause when RIM releases their touch screen bold, im gonna be the first in line yes sir-e-bob. There is nothing like a physical keyboard on a bold seized touch screen phone. Once that comes out, then all that needs to be done are touch screen macbooks and im buying a farm, mary a blond from the country, HBO, and we’re good to go.

I’ve actually typed on my BF’s iPhone keyboard with NO PROBLEM & I use a Blackberry Curve. If you can’t type on the keyboard, seriously see the men in the white coats, with the straight jacket, & ambulance for realz!

I know that Apple probably wouldn’t support 3rd party external keyboards, but if they’re looking to get a bigger portion of the corporate market, isn’t this something they should be looking at? Can’t you already get external keyboards for Blackberry’s and Palms? I wonder if you’ll be able to get one for the Storm or any Android phones.

This is pretty cool. I probably wouldn’t need it though. I don’t mind typing on the iPhone’s virtual keyboard. Plus, I bet this thing doesn’t have auto-correction…
